Prophet Jonah - 10:6
In the alternation of the night with the day and in what Allah has created in the heavens and the earth are proofs and signs for a righteous people.
What is the sign in the alternation of night and day?
The Stories/28:71
"Say, "What would you say if Allah made the night perpetual upon you until the Day of Resurrection? Which God besides Allah can bring you any light? Do you not hear?"
قُلْ اَرَاَيْتُمْ اِنْ جَعَلَ اللّٰهُ عَلَيْكُمُ الَّيْلَ سَرْمَداً اِلٰى يَوْمِ الْقِيٰمَةِ مَنْ اِلٰهٌ غَيْرُ اللّٰهِ يَأْت۪يكُمْ بِضِيَٓاءٍۜ اَفَلَا تَسْمَعُونَ
The Stories/28:72
"Say, "What would you say if Allah made the day continuous upon you until the Day of Resurrection? Which God besides Allah can bring you the night of rest? Do you not see?"
قُلْ اَرَاَيْتُمْ اِنْ جَعَلَ اللّٰهُ عَلَيْكُمُ النَّهَارَ سَرْمَداً اِلٰى يَوْمِ الْقِيٰمَةِ مَنْ اِلٰهٌ غَيْرُ اللّٰهِ يَأْت۪يكُمْ بِلَيْلٍ تَسْكُنُونَ ف۪يهِۜ اَفَلَا تُبْصِرُونَ
The Stories/28:73
It is of His Mercy that He arranged the night and the day, that you may rest in the one and seek His Blessings in the other. Perhaps you will be grateful.
وَمِنْ رَحْمَتِه۪ جَعَلَ لَكُمُ الَّيْلَ وَالنَّهَارَ لِتَسْكُنُوا ف۪يهِ وَلِتَبْتَغُوا مِنْ فَضْلِه۪ وَلَعَلَّكُمْ تَشْكُرُونَ
The Family Of Imran/3:190
In the creation of the heavens and the earth, and in the alternation of the night and the day, there are signs for those who have understanding.
اِنَّ ف۪ي خَلْقِ السَّمٰوَاتِ وَالْاَرْضِ وَاخْتِلَافِ الَّيْلِ وَالنَّهَارِ لَاٰيَاتٍ لِاُو۬لِي الْاَلْبَابِۚ
The Night Journey/17:12
We have made the night and the day two signs (proofs), and We have blotted out the sign of the night and made the sign of the day light, that you may seek the Blessings of your Lord and know the reckoning of the years. We explain everything in detail.
وَجَعَلْنَا الَّيْلَ وَالنَّهَارَ اٰيَتَيْنِ فَمَحَوْنَٓا اٰيَةَ الَّيْلِ وَجَعَلْـنَٓا اٰيَةَ النَّهَارِ مُبْصِرَةً لِتَبْتَغُوا فَضْلاً مِنْ رَبِّكُمْ وَلِتَعْلَمُوا عَدَدَ السِّن۪ينَ وَالْحِسَابَۜ وَكُلَّ شَيْءٍ فَصَّلْنَاهُ تَفْص۪يلاً
The Believers/23:80
It is He who resurrects and slays; to Him is the change of night and day. Do you not use your intellect?
وَهُوَ الَّذ۪ي يُحْـي۪ وَيُم۪يتُ وَلَهُ اخْتِلَافُ الَّيْلِ وَالنَّهَارِۜ اَفَلَا تَعْقِلُونَ
The Light/24:44
Allah controls the night and the day. Surely there is a lesson in this for those who have eyes.
يُقَلِّبُ اللّٰهُ الَّيْلَ وَالنَّهَارَۜ اِنَّ ف۪ي ذٰلِكَ لَعِبْرَةً لِاُو۬لِي الْاَبْصَارِ
The Criterion/25:47
And He it is Who has made the night a covering for you, and sleep a rest, and the day a time of resurrection.
وَهُوَ الَّذ۪ي جَعَلَ لَكُمُ الَّيْلَ لِبَاساً وَالنَّوْمَ سُبَاتاً وَجَعَلَ النَّهَارَ نُشُوراً
The Criterion/25:62
He has made the night and the day alternate, for those who take admonition or give thanks...
وَهُوَ الَّذ۪ي جَعَلَ الَّيْلَ وَالنَّهَارَ خِلْفَةً لِمَنْ اَرَادَ اَنْ يَذَّكَّرَ اَوْ اَرَادَ شُكُوراً
The Ants/27:86
Have they not seen that We have made the night favorable for their rest and the day bright? Surely there are signs in this for a people who believe.
اَلَمْ يَرَوْا اَنَّا جَعَلْنَا الَّيْلَ لِيَسْكُنُوا ف۪يهِ وَالنَّهَارَ مُبْصِراًۜ اِنَّ ف۪ي ذٰلِكَ لَاٰيَاتٍ لِقَوْمٍ يُؤْمِنُونَ
The Romans/30:23
And of His signs is that you sleep by night and by day and seek of His bounty. There are signs in this for a people who listen.
وَمِنْ اٰيَاتِه۪ مَنَامُكُمْ بِالَّيْلِ وَالنَّهَارِ وَابْتِغَٓاؤُ۬كُمْ مِنْ فَضْلِه۪ۜ اِنَّ ف۪ي ذٰلِكَ لَاٰيَاتٍ لِقَوْمٍ يَسْمَعُونَ
Yaseen/36:37
And the night is a sign for them: We strip the day from it so that they remain in darkness.
وَاٰيَةٌ لَهُمُ الَّيْلُۚ نَسْلَخُ مِنْهُ النَّهَارَ فَاِذَا هُمْ مُظْلِمُونَۙ
The Forgiver/40:61
It is Allah Who created the night for you to rest and made the day bright. Allah is gracious to the people, but most of the people do not give thanks.
اَللّٰهُ الَّذ۪ي جَعَلَ لَكُمُ الَّيْلَ لِتَسْكُنُوا ف۪يهِ وَالنَّهَارَ مُبْصِراًۜ اِنَّ اللّٰهَ لَذُو فَضْلٍ عَلَى النَّاسِ وَلٰكِنَّ اَكْثَرَ النَّاسِ لَا يَشْكُرُونَ
The Pilgrimage/22:60
This is how it is. Whoever retaliates in kind against injustice done to him and is attacked for it, Allah will help him. Surely Allah is Forgiving, Forgiving.
ذٰلِكَۚ وَمَنْ عَاقَبَ بِمِثْلِ مَا عُوقِبَ بِه۪ ثُمَّ بُغِيَ عَلَيْهِ لَيَنْصُرَنَّهُ اللّٰهُۜ اِنَّ اللّٰهَ لَعَفُوٌّ غَفُورٌ
The Pilgrimage/22:61
This will come to pass. For Allah puts the night into the day and the day into the night, and Allah is All-Hearing, All-Knowing.
ذٰلِكَ بِاَنَّ اللّٰهَ يُولِجُ الَّيْلَ فِي النَّهَارِ وَيُولِجُ النَّهَارَ فِي الَّيْلِ وَاَنَّ اللّٰهَ سَم۪يعٌ بَص۪يرٌ
