Prophet Joseph - 12:80
"When they despaired of him, they went aside to consult. The elders said: "Do you not know that your father has taken a promise from you in the name of Allah, and that you have already transgressed in the case of Joseph? I will not leave this place until my father gives me permission or until Allah judges for me. He is the Best Judge."

لَقَدْ كَانَ ف۪ي يُوسُفَ وَاِخْوَتِه۪ٓ اٰيَاتٌ لِلسَّٓائِل۪ينَ
Prophet Joseph/12:8
"(His brothers) said: "Our father loves Joseph and his brother more than us, and we are the majority. Our father is clearly in the wrong."
اِذْ قَالُوا لَيُوسُفُ وَاَخُوهُ اَحَبُّ اِلٰٓى اَب۪ينَا مِنَّا وَنَحْنُ عُصْبَةٌۜ اِنَّ اَبَانَا لَف۪ي ضَلَالٍ مُب۪ينٍۚ
Prophet Joseph/12:9
Kill Joseph, or send him away to a distant place so that your father´s attention may be focused on you. Then you will be a righteous people.
اُقْتُلُوا يُوسُفَ اَوِ اطْرَحُوهُ اَرْضاً يَخْلُ لَكُمْ وَجْهُ اَب۪يكُمْ وَتَكُونُوا مِنْ بَعْدِه۪ قَوْماً صَالِح۪ينَ
Prophet Joseph/12:10
"One of them said: "Do not kill Joseph, but throw him into the bottom of the well. Then one of the caravans may find him and take him away."
قَالَ قَٓائِلٌ مِنْهُمْ لَا تَقْتُلُوا يُوسُفَ وَاَلْقُوهُ ف۪ي غَيَابَتِ الْجُبِّ يَلْتَقِطْهُ بَعْضُ السَّيَّارَةِ اِنْ كُنْتُمْ فَاعِل۪ينَ
Prophet Joseph/12:11
". They said: "O our father, why do you not trust us about Joseph, for we are his dearest friends?"
قَالُوا يَٓا اَبَانَا مَا لَكَ لَا تَأْمَنَّۭۖا عَلٰى يُوسُفَ وَاِنَّا لَهُ لَنَاصِحُونَ
Prophet Joseph/12:12
Send him with us so that he may run and play. Surely We will protect him.
اَرْسِلْهُ مَعَنَا غَداً يَرْتَعْ وَيَلْعَبْ وَاِنَّا لَهُ لَحَافِظُونَ
Prophet Joseph/12:13
"He said: "It worries me that you take him away. I fear that the wolf will eat him without your knowledge."
قَالَ اِنّ۪ي لَيَحْزُنُن۪ٓي اَنْ تَذْهَبُوا بِه۪ وَاَخَافُ اَنْ يَأْكُلَهُ الذِّئْبُ وَاَنْتُمْ عَنْهُ غَافِلُونَ
Prophet Joseph/12:14
"They said: "If the wolf eats him while we are a large group, then we are indeed the losers."
قَالُوا لَئِنْ اَكَلَهُ الذِّئْبُ وَنَحْنُ عُصْبَةٌ اِنَّٓا اِذاً لَخَاسِرُونَ
Prophet Joseph/12:15
"When they took him away and decided collectively to throw him into the bottom of the well, We revealed to him: "(Do not grieve) You will tell them what they have done when they will not be aware of it."
فَلَمَّا ذَهَبُوا بِه۪ وَاَجْمَعُٓوا اَنْ يَجْعَلُوهُ ف۪ي غَيَابَتِ الْجُبِّۚ وَاَوْحَيْنَٓا اِلَيْهِ لَتُنَبِّئَنَّهُمْ بِاَمْرِهِمْ هٰذَا وَهُمْ لَا يَشْعُرُونَ
Prophet Joseph/12:16
In the evening they came to their father weeping.
وَجَٓاؤُٓ۫ اَبَاهُمْ عِشَٓاءً يَبْكُونَۜ
Prophet Joseph/12:17
"O our father,"they said, "we left Joseph with our belongings, and the wolf ate him. Even if we speak the truth, you will not believe us."
قَالُوا يَٓا اَبَانَٓا اِنَّا ذَهَبْنَا نَسْتَبِقُ وَتَرَكْنَا يُوسُفَ عِنْدَ مَتَاعِنَا فَاَكَلَهُ الذِّئْبُۚ وَمَٓا اَنْتَ بِمُؤْمِنٍ لَنَا وَلَوْ كُنَّا صَادِق۪ينَ
Prophet Joseph/12:18
"They had falsely smeared blood on his shirt. He said: "Indeed, your ego has driven you to something. My part is to bear (this pain) well. Only Allah can be asked for help against your conspiracy."
وَجَٓاؤُ۫ عَلٰى قَم۪يصِه۪ بِدَمٍ كَذِبٍۜ قَالَ بَلْ سَوَّلَتْ لَكُمْ اَنْفُسُكُمْ اَمْراًۜ فَصَبْرٌ جَم۪يلٌۜ وَاللّٰهُ الْمُسْتَعَانُ عَلٰى مَا تَصِفُونَ
