The Thunder - 13:37
So We sent it down as an Arabic law. If you follow their pleasure after the knowledge that has come to you, you will have no friend or protector against Allah.
What is the intention?
The Kneeling/45:18
Then We gave you a law about religion; you should follow it, and do not follow the whims of those who do not know.
ثُمَّ جَعَلْنَاكَ عَلٰى شَر۪يعَةٍ مِنَ الْاَمْرِ فَاتَّبِعْهَا وَلَا تَتَّبِـعْ اَهْوَٓاءَ الَّذ۪ينَ لَا يَعْلَمُونَ
The Kneeling/45:19
They cannot ward off from you anything from Allah. The wrongdoers are each other´s friends. And Allah is the friend of the righteous.
اِنَّهُمْ لَنْ يُغْنُوا عَنْكَ مِنَ اللّٰهِ شَيْـٔاًۜ وَاِنَّ الظَّالِم۪ينَ بَعْضُهُمْ اَوْلِيَٓاءُ بَعْضٍۚ وَاللّٰهُ وَلِيُّ الْمُتَّق۪ينَ
The Night Journey/17:73
They would almost have led you astray from what We have revealed to you so that you might invent something else and attribute it to Us. Then they would have taken you as a friend.
وَاِنْ كَادُوا لَيَفْتِنُونَكَ عَنِ الَّـذ۪ٓي اَوْحَيْنَٓا اِلَيْكَ لِتَفْتَرِيَ عَلَيْنَا غَيْرَهُۗ وَاِذاً لَاتَّخَذُوكَ خَل۪يلاً
The Night Journey/17:74
If We had not made you firm, you would almost have inclined to them a little
وَلَوْلَٓا اَنْ ثَبَّتْنَاكَ لَقَدْ كِدْتَ تَرْكَنُ اِلَيْهِمْ شَيْـٔاً قَل۪يلاًۗ
The Night Journey/17:75
Then We would have made you taste the torment of life and death multiplied, then you would not have found any helper against Us.
اِذاً لَاَذَقْنَاكَ ضِعْفَ الْحَيٰوةِ وَضِعْفَ الْمَمَاتِ ثُمَّ لَا تَجِدُ لَكَ عَلَيْنَا نَص۪يراً
The Sure Truth/69:44
If He attributes to us some words,
وَلَوْ تَقَوَّلَ عَلَيْنَا بَعْضَ الْاَقَاو۪يلِۙ
The Sure Truth/69:46
Then We would cut off the revelation from him.
ثُمَّ لَقَطَعْنَا مِنْهُ الْوَت۪ينَۘ
The Sure Truth/69:47
And no one of you could prevent it.
فَمَا مِنْكُمْ مِنْ اَحَدٍ عَنْهُ حَاجِز۪ينَ
The Cow/2:120
"Neither the Jews nor the Christians will be pleased with you unless you enter into their religion. Say: "The right way is the way of Allah."If you follow their desires after the knowledge that has come to you, you will find neither a friend nor a supporter to defend you against Allah."
وَلَنْ تَرْضٰى عَنْكَ الْيَهُودُ وَلَا النَّصَارٰى حَتّٰى تَتَّبِعَ مِلَّتَهُمْۜ قُلْ اِنَّ هُدَى اللّٰهِ هُوَ الْهُدٰىۜ وَلَئِنِ اتَّبَعْتَ اَهْوَٓاءَهُمْ بَعْدَ الَّذ۪ي جَٓاءَكَ مِنَ الْعِلْمِۙ مَا لَكَ مِنَ اللّٰهِ مِنْ وَلِيٍّ وَلَا نَص۪يرٍ
The Heights/7:6
We will question those to whom a message was sent, and We will question the messengers.
فَلَنَسْـَٔلَنَّ الَّذ۪ينَ اُرْسِلَ اِلَيْهِمْ وَلَنَسْـَٔلَنَّ الْمُرْسَل۪ينَۙ
