Prophet Abraham - 14:10
"Their messengers said: "Do you doubt Allah, Who created the heavens and the earth, and He calls you to forgive you your sins and gives you a certain period of time?"They said: "You are but men like us, and you want to turn us away from that which our forefathers used to serve. Bring us a clear authorization"."
To what does Allah call for the forgiveness of sins?
Prophet Noah/71:1
"We sent Noah to his people, saying: "Warn your people before the painful torment comes upon them"."
اِنَّٓا اَرْسَلْنَا نُوحاً اِلٰى قَوْمِه۪ٓ اَنْ اَنْذِرْ قَوْمَكَ مِنْ قَبْلِ اَنْ يَأْتِيَهُمْ عَذَابٌ اَل۪يمٌ
Prophet Noah/71:2
"He said, "O My people! Verily, I am a warner for you, clear."
قَالَ يَا قَوْمِ اِنّ۪ي لَـكُمْ نَذ۪يرٌ مُب۪ينٌۙ
Prophet Noah/71:3
Serve Allah and honor Him and follow me.
اَنِ اعْبُدُوا اللّٰهَ وَاتَّقُوهُ وَاَط۪يعُونِۙ
Prophet Noah/71:4
"That He may forgive you your sins and postpone you until a certain term. Verily, Allah´s appointed term is not postponed, if you only knew.
يَغْفِرْ لَـكُمْ مِنْ ذُنُوبِكُمْ وَيُؤَخِّرْكُمْ اِلٰٓى اَجَلٍ مُسَمًّىۜ اِنَّ اَجَلَ اللّٰهِ اِذَا جَٓاءَ لَا يُؤَخَّرُۢ لَوْ كُنْتُمْ تَعْلَمُونَ
Prophet Noah/71:5
He said, "My Lord, I have called my people day and night."
قَالَ رَبِّ اِنّ۪ي دَعَوْتُ قَوْم۪ي لَيْلاً وَنَهَاراًۙ
