The Bee - 16:77 To Allah belong the mysteries of the heavens and the earth. The Hour (the end of the world) is as the blink of an eye or shorter. Allah is the All-Sufficient.
The hour (the end of the world) is as short as the blink of an eye:
The Moon/54:50 Our command is as sudden as the blink of an eye.
وَمَٓا اَمْرُنَٓا اِلَّا وَاحِدَةٌ كَلَمْحٍ بِالْبَصَرِ
The Ways of Ascent/70:5 So be patient with patience.
فَاصْبِرْ صَبْراً جَم۪يلاً
The Ways of Ascent/70:6 They see it as distant.
اِنَّهُمْ يَرَوْنَهُ بَع۪يداًۙ
The Ways of Ascent/70:7 But We see it near.
وَنَرٰيهُ قَر۪يباًۜ
The Ways of Ascent/70:8 The day will come when the sky will be like molten metal.
يَوْمَ تَكُونُ السَّمَٓاءُ كَالْمُهْلِۙ
The Ways of Ascent/70:9 The mountains will be like discarded wool.
وَتَكُونُ الْجِبَالُ كَالْعِهْنِۙ

وَلِلّٰهِ غَيْبُ السَّمٰوَاتِ وَالْاَرْضِۜ وَمَٓا اَمْرُ السَّاعَةِ اِلَّا كَلَمْحِ الْبَصَرِ اَوْ هُوَ اَقْرَبُۜ اِنَّ اللّٰهَ عَلٰى كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَد۪يرٌ
The Coalition/33:63 "The people ask you about the Hour (the last hour of the world). Say, "The knowledge of it is with Allah; how do you know, perhaps the Hour is near."
يَسْـَٔلُكَ النَّاسُ عَنِ السَّاعَةِۜ قُلْ اِنَّمَا عِلْمُهَا عِنْدَ اللّٰهِۜ وَمَا يُدْر۪يكَ لَعَلَّ السَّاعَةَ تَكُونُ قَر۪يباً
The Night Journey/17:51 "Or assume a form that seems impossible to you, it does not matter."They will say: "Who will bring us back?"Say: "Whoever created you in the first place!"Then they will shake their heads and say, "And when?"Say: "Perhaps nearer than you think..."
اَوْ خَلْقاً مِمَّا يَكْبُرُ ف۪ي صُدُورِكُمْۚ فَسَيَقُولُونَ مَنْ يُع۪يدُنَاۜ قُلِ الَّذ۪ي فَطَرَكُمْ اَوَّلَ مَرَّةٍۚ فَسَيُنْغِضُونَ اِلَيْكَ رُؤُ۫سَهُمْ وَيَقُولُونَ مَتٰى هُوَۜ قُلْ عَسٰٓى اَنْ يَكُونَ قَر۪يباً
Council/42:17 It is Allah Who has sent down the Book with truth and justice. What do you know, perhaps the Hour (the end of the world) is near.
اَللّٰهُ الَّـذ۪ٓي اَنْزَلَ الْكِتَابَ بِالْحَقِّ وَالْم۪يزَانَۜ وَمَا يُدْر۪يكَ لَعَلَّ السَّاعَةَ قَر۪يبٌ
The News/78:40 "We have warned you of an imminent torment. On that Day a person will look at what he has done, and the disbeliever will say: "Would that he were dust!"
اِنَّٓا اَنْذَرْنَا‌كُمْ عَذَاباً قَر۪يباًۚ يَوْمَ يَنْظُرُ الْمَرْءُ مَا قَدَّمَتْ يَدَاهُ وَيَقُولُ الْـكَافِرُ يَا لَيْتَن۪ي كُنْتُ تُرَاباً
