The Poets - 26:86
Forgive my father, for he has gone astray.
The deviators:
The Women/4:116
Allah does not forgive associating partners with Him (if it continues until death), but He forgives the sins below that to whom He wills. Whoever associates partners with Allah has gone astray.
اِنَّ اللّٰهَ لَا يَغْفِرُ اَنْ يُشْرَكَ بِه۪ وَيَغْفِرُ مَا دُونَ ذٰلِكَ لِمَنْ يَشَٓاءُۜ وَمَنْ يُشْرِكْ بِاللّٰهِ فَقَدْ ضَلَّ ضَلَالاً بَع۪يداً
The Women/4:136
Believers! Believe in Allah and His Messenger and the Book which He sent down to His Messenger and the Book which He sent down before. Whoever disbelieves in Allah, His angels, His Book, His messengers and the Last Day has gone astray.
يَٓا اَيُّهَا الَّذ۪ينَ اٰمَنُٓوا اٰمِنُوا بِاللّٰهِ وَرَسُولِه۪ وَالْكِتَابِ الَّذ۪ي نَزَّلَ عَلٰى رَسُولِه۪ وَالْكِتَابِ الَّـذ۪ٓي اَنْزَلَ مِنْ قَبْلُۜ وَمَنْ يَكْفُرْ بِاللّٰهِ وَمَلٰٓئِكَتِه۪ وَكُتُبِه۪ وَرُسُلِه۪ وَالْيَوْمِ الْاٰخِرِ فَقَدْ ضَلَّ ضَلَالاً بَع۪يداً
The Women/4:167
Those who disbelieve and hinder from the Way of Allah have gone astray.
اِنَّ الَّذ۪ينَ كَفَرُوا وَصَدُّوا عَنْ سَب۪يلِ اللّٰهِ قَدْ ضَلُّوا ضَلَالاً بَع۪يداً
The Cattle/6:74
"Abraham said to his father Azer: "Do you take statues as gods? I see you and your people in manifest error."
وَاِذْ قَالَ اِبْرٰه۪يمُ لِاَب۪يهِ اٰزَرَ اَتَـتَّخِذُ اَصْنَاماً اٰلِهَةًۚ اِنّ۪ٓي اَرٰيكَ وَقَوْمَكَ ف۪ي ضَلَالٍ مُب۪ينٍ
The Heights/7:30
He guided a group to the right path and a group deserved to go astray. They have taken the devils as friends besides Allah, but they think that they are on the right path.
فَر۪يقاً هَدٰى وَفَر۪يقاً حَقَّ عَلَيْهِمُ الضَّلَالَةُۜ اِنَّهُمُ اتَّخَذُوا الشَّيَاط۪ينَ اَوْلِيَٓاءَ مِنْ دُونِ اللّٰهِ وَيَحْسَبُونَ اَنَّهُمْ مُهْتَدُونَ
The Bee/16:36
"And We sent a messenger among every people, saying, "Serve Allah and beware of idolatry."Some of them were guided by Allah, and some of them were condemned to remain in error. Travel through the earth and see how was the end of those who denied."
وَلَقَدْ بَعَثْنَا ف۪ي كُلِّ اُمَّةٍ رَسُولاً اَنِ اعْبُدُوا اللّٰهَ وَاجْتَنِبُوا الطَّاغُوتَۚ فَمِنْهُمْ مَنْ هَدَى اللّٰهُ وَمِنْهُمْ مَنْ حَقَّتْ عَلَيْهِ الضَّلَالَةُۜ فَس۪يرُوا فِي الْاَرْضِ فَانْظُرُوا كَيْفَ كَانَ عَاقِبَةُ الْمُكَذِّب۪ينَ
The Pilgrimage/22:12
He supplicates to those who can neither benefit nor harm him apart from Allah. This is the extreme point of deviation.
يَدْعُوا مِنْ دُونِ اللّٰهِ مَا لَا يَضُرُّهُ وَمَا لَا يَنْفَعُهُۜ ذٰلِكَ هُوَ الضَّلَالُ الْبَع۪يدُ
The Poets/26:97
By Allah, we were indeed in clear error.
تَاللّٰهِ اِنْ كُنَّا لَف۪ي ضَلَالٍ مُب۪ينٍۙ
The Poets/26:98
Because we equated you with the Lord of the Universes.
اِذْ نُسَوّ۪يكُمْ بِرَبِّ الْعَالَم۪ينَ
The Stories/28:50
If they do not answer you, know that they follow only their delusions. Who is more astray than he who follows his delusions without guidance from Allah? Surely Allah does not guide the unjust people.
فَاِنْ لَمْ يَسْتَج۪يبُوا لَكَ فَاعْلَمْ اَنَّمَا يَتَّبِعُونَ اَهْوَٓاءَهُمْۜ وَمَنْ اَضَلُّ مِمَّنِ اتَّبَعَ هَوٰيهُ بِغَيْرِ هُدًى مِنَ اللّٰهِۜ اِنَّ اللّٰهَ لَا يَهْدِي الْقَوْمَ الظَّالِم۪ينَ
Yaseen/36:23
Shall I take gods besides Him? If the Most Merciful wishes to harm me, their intercession can neither benefit me nor save me.
ءَاَتَّخِذُ مِنْ دُونِه۪ٓ اٰلِهَةً اِنْ يُرِدْنِ الرَّحْمٰنُ بِضُرٍّ لَا تُغْنِ عَنّ۪ي شَفَاعَتُهُمْ شَيْـٔاً وَلَا يُنْقِذُونِۚ
The Companies/39:22
Whoever Allah opens his bosom to Islam, he is on a light from his Lord. Woe to those whose hearts are hardened against the message of Allah. They are in clear error.
اَفَمَنْ شَرَحَ اللّٰهُ صَدْرَهُ لِلْاِسْلَامِ فَهُوَ عَلٰى نُورٍ مِنْ رَبِّه۪ۜ فَوَيْلٌ لِلْقَاسِيَةِ قُلُوبُهُمْ مِنْ ذِكْرِ اللّٰهِۜ اُو۬لٰٓئِكَ ف۪ي ضَلَالٍ مُب۪ينٍ
The Family Of Imran/3:164
Allah was gracious in sending from among the believers a messenger who recited to them His Verses, purified them and taught them the Book and wisdom. But they were in manifest error before!
لَقَدْ مَنَّ اللّٰهُ عَلَى الْمُؤْمِن۪ينَ اِذْ بَعَثَ ف۪يهِمْ رَسُولاً مِنْ اَنْفُسِهِمْ يَتْلُوا عَلَيْهِمْ اٰيَاتِه۪ وَيُزَكّ۪يهِمْ وَيُعَلِّمُهُمُ الْكِتَابَ وَالْحِكْمَةَۚ وَاِنْ كَانُوا مِنْ قَبْلُ لَف۪ي ضَلَالٍ مُب۪ينٍ
Explained in Detail/41:52
"Say, "What if it (the message) was from Allah and you denied it? Who is more astray than he who takes a firm stand against it?"
قُلْ اَرَاَيْتُمْ اِنْ كَانَ مِنْ عِنْدِ اللّٰهِ ثُمَّ كَفَرْتُمْ بِه۪ مَنْ اَضَلُّ مِمَّنْ هُوَ ف۪ي شِقَاقٍ بَع۪يدٍ
Council/42:18
Those who do not believe in it challenge about it. Those who believe in it are anxious about it and know that it is true. Those who doubt about the Hour are in great error.
يَسْتَعْجِلُ بِهَا الَّذ۪ينَ لَا يُؤْمِنُونَ بِهَاۚ وَالَّذ۪ينَ اٰمَنُوا مُشْفِقُونَ مِنْهَاۙ وَيَعْلَمُونَ اَنَّهَا الْحَقُّۜ اَلَٓا اِنَّ الَّذ۪ينَ يُمَارُونَ فِي السَّاعَةِ لَف۪ي ضَلَالٍ بَع۪يدٍ
The Sandhills/46:5
Who is more astray than those who leave Allah and call upon those who cannot answer them until the Day of Resurrection, and who are even ignorant of their prayers?
وَمَنْ اَضَلُّ مِمَّنْ يَدْعُوا مِنْ دُونِ اللّٰهِ مَنْ لَا يَسْتَج۪يبُ لَـهُٓ اِلٰى يَوْمِ الْقِيٰمَةِ وَهُمْ عَنْ دُعَٓائِهِمْ غَافِلُونَ
The Event/56:92
But if he is one of the perverts who deny-
وَاَمَّٓا اِنْ كَانَ مِنَ الْمُكَذِّب۪ينَ الضَّٓالّ۪ينَۙ
