The Cow - 2:221
Do not marry women who associate partners unless they believe. A believing servant woman is better than a woman who associates partners, even if you like her. And do not marry your daughters to men who associate partners until they believe. A believing servant boy is better than one who associates partners, even if you like him. They call to the Fire. Allah, on the other hand, calls to Paradise and forgiveness, and He makes His verses clear to the people so that they may take admonition.
How do they call to the fire?
The Forgiver/40:41
O my people, why do you call me to the Fire while I call you to salvation?
وَيَا قَوْمِ مَا ل۪ٓي اَدْعُوكُمْ اِلَى النَّجٰوةِ وَتَدْعُونَن۪ٓي اِلَى النَّارِۜ
The Forgiver/40:42
You call me to be ungrateful to Allah and to associate with Him that of which I have no knowledge. I call you to Him Who is the Exalted and the Forgiving.
تَدْعُونَن۪ي لِاَكْفُرَ بِاللّٰهِ وَاُشْرِكَ بِه۪ مَا لَيْسَ ل۪ي بِه۪ عِلْمٌۘ وَاَنَا۬ اَدْعُوكُمْ اِلَى الْعَز۪يزِ الْغَفَّارِ
The Forgiver/40:43
Surely what you call me to has no foundation in this world or the Hereafter. To Allah is our return. Those who transgress will end up in Hell.
لَا جَرَمَ اَنَّمَا تَدْعُونَن۪ٓي اِلَيْهِ لَيْسَ لَهُ دَعْوَةٌ فِي الدُّنْيَا وَلَا فِي الْاٰخِرَةِ وَاَنَّ مَرَدَّنَٓا اِلَى اللّٰهِ وَاَنَّ الْمُسْرِف۪ينَ هُمْ اَصْحَابُ النَّارِ
Prophet Hud/11:96
And We sent Moses with Our signs (miracles and revelation) and with a clear authority.
وَلَقَدْ اَرْسَلْنَا مُوسٰى بِاٰيَاتِنَا وَسُلْطَانٍ مُب۪ينٍۙ
Prophet Hud/11:97
To Pharaoh and his council. But they followed the command of Pharaoh. And Pharaoh´s command was not wise.
اِلٰى فِرْعَوْنَ وَمَلَا۬ئِه۪ فَاتَّـبَعُٓوا اَمْرَ فِرْعَوْنَۚ وَمَٓا اَمْرُ فِرْعَوْنَ بِرَش۪يدٍ
Prophet Hud/11:98
On the Day of Resurrection, he will lead his people and take them into the Fire. What an evil place they will enter!
يَقْدُمُ قَوْمَهُ يَوْمَ الْقِيٰمَةِ فَاَوْرَدَهُمُ النَّارَۜ وَبِئْسَ الْوِرْدُ الْمَوْرُودُ
Prophet Hud/11:99
A curse will follow them here and in the Hereafter. What an evil gift is the gift they receive!
وَاُتْبِعُوا ف۪ي هٰذِه۪ لَعْنَةً وَيَوْمَ الْقِيٰمَةِۜ بِئْسَ الرِّفْدُ الْمَرْفُودُ
The Ornaments of Gold/43:51
"Pharaoh said to his people: "O my people, does not the government of Egypt and the rivers flowing under me belong to me? Do you not see?"
وَنَادٰى فِرْعَوْنُ ف۪ي قَوْمِه۪ قَالَ يَا قَوْمِ اَلَيْسَ ل۪ي مُلْكُ مِصْرَ وَهٰذِهِ الْاَنْهَارُ تَجْر۪ي مِنْ تَحْت۪يۚ اَفَلَا تُبْصِرُونَۜ
The Ornaments of Gold/43:52
Or am I not superior to this man who is vile and unable to speak?
اَمْ اَنَا۬ خَيْرٌ مِنْ هٰذَا الَّذ۪ي هُوَ مَه۪ينٌ وَلَا يَكَادُ يُب۪ينُ
The Ornaments of Gold/43:53
Why is he not given a treasure of gold, or why do not angels come to work with him?
فَلَوْلَٓا اُلْقِيَ عَلَيْهِ اَسْوِرَةٌ مِنْ ذَهَبٍ اَوْ جَٓاءَ مَعَهُ الْمَلٰٓئِكَةُ مُقْتَرِن۪ينَ
The Ornaments of Gold/43:54
So he misled his people and they followed him. They were a vulgar people.
فَاسْتَخَفَّ قَوْمَهُ فَاَطَاعُوهُۜ اِنَّهُمْ كَانُوا قَوْماً فَاسِق۪ينَ
Prophet Abraham/14:22
"After the decision was published, Satan said to them: "Allah has promised you the truth, but I promised you and broke my word. I had no power over you; I called you and you joined me. So do not condemn me, but only condemn yourselves. You cannot save me, nor can I save you. I have already denied your associating me as a partner, and for the wrongdoers there is a painful torment."
وَقَالَ الشَّيْطَانُ لَمَّا قُضِيَ الْاَمْرُ اِنَّ اللّٰهَ وَعَدَكُمْ وَعْدَ الْحَقِّ وَوَعَدْتُكُمْ فَاَخْلَفْتُكُمْۜ وَمَا كَانَ لِيَ عَلَيْكُمْ مِنْ سُلْطَانٍ اِلَّٓا اَنْ دَعَوْتُكُمْ فَاسْتَجَبْتُمْ ل۪يۚ فَلَا تَلُومُون۪ي وَلُومُٓوا اَنْفُسَكُمْۜ مَٓا اَنَا۬ بِمُصْرِخِكُمْ وَمَٓا اَنْتُمْ بِمُصْرِخِيَّۜ اِنّ۪ي كَفَرْتُ بِمَٓا اَشْرَكْتُمُونِ مِنْ قَبْلُۜ اِنَّ الظَّالِم۪ينَ لَهُمْ عَذَابٌ اَل۪يمٌ
Luqman/31:21
"When it is said to them, "Follow what Allah has sent down,"they say, "Nay, we follow the way which we found our fathers on."Even though Satan calls them to the torment of the blazing Fire?"
وَاِذَا ق۪يلَ لَهُمُ اتَّبِعُوا مَٓا اَنْزَلَ اللّٰهُ قَالُوا بَلْ نَتَّبِعُ مَا وَجَدْنَا عَلَيْهِ اٰبَٓاءَنَاۜ اَوَلَوْ كَانَ الشَّيْطَانُ يَدْعُوهُمْ اِلٰى عَذَابِ السَّع۪يرِ
Originator/35:5
O people, the word of Allah is truth; let not the life of this world deceive you. Let not the deceiver deceive you about Allah.
يَٓا اَيُّهَا النَّاسُ اِنَّ وَعْدَ اللّٰهِ حَقٌّ فَلَا تَغُرَّنَّكُمُ الْحَيٰوةُ الدُّنْيَا۠ وَلَا يَغُرَّنَّكُمْ بِاللّٰهِ الْغَرُورُ
Originator/35:6
Satan is your enemy, so make him your enemy. He only calls his party to be the people of Hell.
اِنَّ الشَّيْطَانَ لَكُمْ عَدُوٌّ فَاتَّخِذُوهُ عَدُواًّۜ اِنَّمَا يَدْعُوا حِزْبَهُ لِيَكُونُوا مِنْ اَصْحَابِ السَّع۪يرِۜ
Those Who Set The Ranks/37:50
They turn to each other and ask questions.
فَاَقْبَلَ بَعْضُهُمْ عَلٰى بَعْضٍ يَتَسَٓاءَلُونَ
Those Who Set The Ranks/37:51
"One of them says, "I had a friend."
قَالَ قَٓائِلٌ مِنْهُمْ اِنّ۪ي كَانَ ل۪ي قَر۪ينٌۙ
Those Who Set The Ranks/37:52
He used to say, ´Do you affirm?´
يَقُولُ اَئِنَّكَ لَمِنَ الْمُصَدِّق۪ينَ
Those Who Set The Ranks/37:53
´Shall we be resurrected after we have become dust and bones?´
ءَاِذَا مِتْنَا وَكُنَّا تُرَاباً وَعِظَاماً ءَاِنَّا لَمَد۪ينُونَ
Those Who Set The Ranks/37:54
"(He says to those who are with him) "Look"."
قَالَ هَلْ اَنْتُمْ مُطَّلِعُونَ
Those Who Set The Ranks/37:55
When he looks, he finds him in the center of Hell.
فَاطَّـلَعَ فَرَاٰهُ ف۪ي سَوَٓاءِ الْجَح۪يمِ
Those Who Set The Ranks/37:56
"He says: "By Allah, you almost destroyed me too"."
قَالَ تَاللّٰهِ اِنْ كِدْتَ لَتُرْد۪ينِۙ
Those Who Set The Ranks/37:57
Had it not been for the Blessing of my Lord, I would have been with you.
وَلَوْلَا نِعْمَةُ رَبّ۪ي لَكُنْتُ مِنَ الْمُحْضَر۪ينَ
Those Who Set The Ranks/37:59
When were we not to be punished except for the first death?
اِلَّا مَوْتَتَنَا الْاُو۫لٰى وَمَا نَحْنُ بِمُعَذَّب۪ينَ
