Luqman - 31:18
Do not despise the people in arrogance, and do not go about in the earth boasting. Allah does not love the proud and boastful.
Allah does not love the arrogant people:
The Cave/18:34
"Now he had a crop! So he said to his companion, "I am richer than you and have more men."
وَكَانَ لَهُ ثَمَرٌۚ فَقَالَ لِصَاحِبِه۪ وَهُوَ يُحَاوِرُهُٓ اَنَا۬ اَكْثَرُ مِنْكَ مَالاً وَاَعَزُّ نَفَراً
The Night Journey/17:37
Do not walk arrogantly on the earth; you cannot pierce the earth, nor can you be as tall as the mountains.
وَلَا تَمْشِ فِي الْاَرْضِ مَرَحاًۚ اِنَّكَ لَنْ تَخْرِقَ الْاَرْضَ وَلَنْ تَبْلُغَ الْجِبَالَ طُولاً
The Criterion/25:63
The servants of the Most Merciful are such that they walk in the earth without ostentation. And when the ignorant insult them, they offer peace.
وَعِبَادُ الرَّحْمٰنِ الَّذ۪ينَ يَمْشُونَ عَلَى الْاَرْضِ هَوْناً وَاِذَا خَاطَبَهُمُ الْجَاهِلُونَ قَالُوا سَلَاماً
The Stories/28:76
"Karun was of the people of Moses, but he betrayed them and oppressed them. We had given him such treasures that their keys were too heavy even for a strong people. His people said to him: "Do not be spoiled, Allah does not love the spoiled."
اِنَّ قَارُونَ كَانَ مِنْ قَوْمِ مُوسٰى فَبَغٰى عَلَيْهِمْۖ وَاٰتَيْنَاهُ مِنَ الْكُنُوزِ مَٓا اِنَّ مَفَاتِحَهُ لَتَنُٓوأُ بِالْعُصْبَةِ اُو۬لِي الْقُوَّةِۗ اِذْ قَالَ لَهُ قَوْمُهُ لَا تَفْرَحْ اِنَّ اللّٰهَ لَا يُحِبُّ الْفَرِح۪ينَ
The Stories/28:83
We have reserved this abode of the Hereafter for those who do not wish to boast and corrupt in the earth. The result is for the righteous.
تِلْكَ الدَّارُ الْاٰخِرَةُ نَجْعَلُهَا لِلَّذ۪ينَ لَا يُر۪يدُونَ عُلُواًّ فِي الْاَرْضِ وَلَا فَسَاداًۜ وَالْعَاقِبَةُ لِلْمُتَّق۪ينَ
The Iron/57:23
This is so that you may not grieve for what you have lost, and that you may not be spoiled by what He has given you. Allah does not love those who are proud and boastful.
لِكَيْلَا تَأْسَوْا عَلٰى مَا فَاتَكُمْ وَلَا تَفْرَحُوا بِمَٓا اٰتٰيكُمْۜ وَاللّٰهُ لَا يُحِبُّ كُلَّ مُخْتَالٍ فَخُورٍۙ
Luqman/31:18

وَلَا تُصَعِّرْ خَدَّكَ لِلنَّاسِ وَلَا تَمْشِ فِي الْاَرْضِ مَرَحاًۜ اِنَّ اللّٰهَ لَا يُحِبُّ كُلَّ مُخْتَالٍ فَخُورٍۚ
The City/90:6
"He says (boastfully), "I have spent a lot of money."
يَقُولُ اَهْلَكْتُ مَالاً لُبَداًۜ
The Women/4:37
These are stingy and they advise the people to be stingy. They conceal what Allah has given them of His bounty. We have prepared for the disbelievers a painful torment.
اَلَّذ۪ينَ يَبْخَلُونَ وَيَأْمُرُونَ النَّاسَ بِالْبُخْلِ وَيَكْتُمُونَ مَٓا اٰتٰيهُمُ اللّٰهُ مِنْ فَضْلِه۪ۜ وَاَعْتَدْنَا لِلْكَافِر۪ينَ عَذَاباً مُه۪يناًۚ
The Women/4:38
These give their wealth to the people for show. They do not believe in Allah and the Last Day. Whoever has Satan as his companion has a very bad companion.
وَالَّذ۪ينَ يُنْفِقُونَ اَمْوَالَهُمْ رِئَٓاءَ النَّاسِ وَلَا يُؤْمِنُونَ بِاللّٰهِ وَلَا بِالْيَوْمِ الْاٰخِرِۜ وَمَنْ يَكُنِ الشَّيْطَانُ لَهُ قَر۪يناً فَسَٓاءَ قَر۪يناً
The Repentance/9:79
Those who criticize the generosity of the believers who give voluntarily and mock the poor who cannot give much, Allah will humiliate them. For them is a painful torment.
اَلَّذ۪ينَ يَلْمِزُونَ الْمُطَّوِّع۪ينَ مِنَ الْمُؤْمِن۪ينَ فِي الصَّدَقَاتِ وَالَّذ۪ينَ لَا يَجِدُونَ اِلَّا جُهْدَهُمْ فَيَسْخَرُونَ مِنْهُمْۜ سَخِرَ اللّٰهُ مِنْهُمْۘ وَلَهُمْ عَذَابٌ اَل۪يمٌ
