The Kneeling - 45:16
We gave to the Children of Israel the Book and wisdom and prophethood. We provided them with good bounties and made them superior over all peoples.

We gave Moses the Book and sent messengers after him in succession. And We gave clear proofs to Jesus, son of Mary, and We supported him with the Holy Spirit. Whenever a messenger came to you with something you did not like, were you not arrogant? Indeed, some of them you denied and some of them you killed.
وَلَقَدْ اٰتَيْنَا مُوسَى الْكِتَابَ وَقَفَّيْنَا مِنْ بَعْدِه۪ بِالرُّسُلِ وَاٰتَيْنَا ع۪يسَى ابْنَ مَرْيَمَ الْبَيِّنَاتِ وَاَيَّدْنَاهُ بِرُوحِ الْقُدُسِۜ اَفَكُلَّمَا جَٓاءَكُمْ رَسُولٌ بِمَا لَا تَهْوٰٓى اَنْفُسُكُمُ اسْتَكْبَرْتُمْۚ فَفَر۪يقاً كَذَّبْتُمْۘ وَفَر۪يقاً تَقْتُلُونَ
The Cow/2:246
"Did not this incident attract your attention? The elders of the Children of Israel said to one of their prophets after Moses, "Appoint us a king so that we may fight for the cause of Allah. He said, "What if war is necessary and you do not fight?"They replied, "Why should we not fight in the cause of Allah when we are driven away from our homes and our children?"But when war was obligatory upon them, they turned away except a few. Allah Knows the wrongdoers."
اَلَمْ تَرَ اِلَى الْمَلَأِ مِنْ بَن۪ٓي اِسْرَٓائ۪لَ مِنْ بَعْدِ مُوسٰىۢ اِذْ قَالُوا لِنَبِيٍّ لَهُمُ ابْعَثْ لَنَا مَلِكاً نُقَاتِلْ ف۪ي سَب۪يلِ اللّٰهِۜ قَالَ هَلْ عَسَيْتُمْ اِنْ كُتِبَ عَلَيْكُمُ الْقِتَالُ اَلَّا تُقَاتِلُواۜ قَالُوا وَمَا لَـنَٓا اَلَّا نُقَاتِلَ ف۪ي سَب۪يلِ اللّٰهِ وَقَدْ اُخْرِجْنَا مِنْ دِيَارِنَا وَاَبْنَٓائِنَاۜ فَلَمَّا كُتِبَ عَلَيْهِمُ الْقِتَالُ تَوَلَّوْا اِلَّا قَل۪يلاً مِنْهُمْۜ وَاللّٰهُ عَل۪يمٌ بِالظَّالِم۪ينَ
The Ranks/61:6
"Remember when Jesus said to his people: "O Children of Israel, I am a messenger of Allah sent to you, confirming the Torah before me and giving good tidings of a messenger to come after me whose name is more praised."Then when he showed them clear proofs, they said, "This is a clear magic."
وَاِذْ قَالَ ع۪يسَى ابْنُ مَرْيَمَ يَا بَن۪ٓي اِسْرَٓائ۪لَ اِنّ۪ي رَسُولُ اللّٰهِ اِلَيْكُمْ مُصَدِّقاً لِمَا بَـيْنَ يَدَيَّ مِنَ التَّوْرٰيةِ وَمُبَشِّراً بِرَسُولٍ يَأْت۪ي مِنْ بَعْدِي اسْمُهُٓ اَحْمَدُۜ فَلَمَّا جَٓاءَهُمْ بِالْبَـيِّنَاتِ قَالُوا هٰذَا سِحْرٌ مُب۪ينٌ
The Cattle/6:84
And We gave him Isaac and Jacob, and We guided each of them, and We guided Noah before him, and We guided David, Solomon, Ayyub, Joseph, Moses and Aaron from his descendants. Thus do We reward those who do good.
وَوَهَبْنَا لَهُٓ اِسْحٰقَ وَيَعْقُوبَۜ كُلاًّ هَدَيْنَاۚ وَنُوحاً هَدَيْنَا مِنْ قَبْلُ وَمِنْ ذُرِّيَّتِه۪ دَاوُ۫دَ وَسُلَيْمٰنَ وَاَيُّوبَ وَيُوسُفَ وَمُوسٰى وَهٰرُونَۜ وَكَذٰلِكَ نَجْزِي الْمُحْسِن۪ينَۙ
The Cattle/6:85
And to Zakariyya, John, Jesus and Elijah. All of them were of the good.
وَزَكَرِيَّا وَيَحْيٰى وَع۪يسٰى وَاِلْيَاسَۜ كُلٌّ مِنَ الصَّالِح۪ينَۙ
The Cattle/6:86
And Ishmael, al-Yasa´, Jonah and Lot. We favored them over the peoples.
وَاِسْمٰع۪يلَ وَالْيَسَعَ وَيُونُسَ وَلُوطاًۜ وَكُلاًّ فَضَّلْنَا عَلَى الْعَالَم۪ينَۙ
