The Women - 4:26
Allah wishes to make clear to you these things, and to guide you to the way of those before you, and to reward you for your turning to Him (your repentance). Allah is All-Knowing, All-Wise.
Those before Us and their way:
The Opening/1:6
Guide us to the right path.
The Opening/1:7
Not to the way of those who are wrathful and astray, but to the way of those to whom You do good....
The Cattle/6:83
This is the method of argument We gave to Abraham to use against his people. We raise whom We will in degrees. Your Lord is Wise, Knowing.
The Cattle/6:84
And We gave him Isaac and Jacob, and We guided each of them, and We guided Noah before him, and We guided David, Solomon, Ayyub, Joseph, Moses and Aaron from his descendants. Thus do We reward those who do good.
The Cattle/6:85
And to Zakariyya, John, Jesus and Elijah. All of them were of the good.
The Cattle/6:86
And Ishmael, al-Yasa´, Jonah and Lot. We favored them over the peoples.
The Cattle/6:87
And We chose many of their fathers and their descendants and their brothers and guided them to the right path.
The Cattle/6:88
Such is the Guidance of Allah. He guides whomever He wills among His servants and/or whoever He wills to it. Had they associated partners, what they did would have been in vain.
The Cattle/6:89
Those are they to whom We gave the Book and wisdom and prophethood. If that people disbelieve in them, We will replace them with a people who will not disbelieve in them.
The Cattle/6:90
"These are those whom Allah has guided. Follow their way. Say: "I do not ask you for a wage in return for this; this is only a message to all peoples."

Allah is my Lord and your Lord; serve Him. This is the right way.
