The Table Spread - 5:117
I said to them nothing but what You commanded me: ´Serve Allah, my Lord and your Lord.´ I was a witness to them as long as I was among them, and when You took my life, You became a watcher over them. You are the Witness of all things.
God saved Jesus from the unbelievers by taking his life:
The Family Of Imran/3:55
"Allah said to Jesus: "I will end your life on earth and raise you to Myself, and I will rescue you from those who disbelieve, and I will keep those who follow you above those who disbelieve until the Day of Resurrection, and then to Me is your return, and I will judge between you in the matters in which you differ."
اِذْ قَالَ اللّٰهُ يَا ع۪يسٰٓى اِنّ۪ي مُتَوَفّ۪يكَ وَرَافِعُكَ اِلَيَّ وَمُطَهِّرُكَ مِنَ الَّذ۪ينَ كَفَرُوا وَجَاعِلُ الَّذ۪ينَ اتَّبَعُوكَ فَوْقَ الَّذ۪ينَ كَفَرُٓوا اِلٰى يَوْمِ الْقِيٰمَةِۚ ثُمَّ اِلَيَّ مَرْجِعُكُمْ فَاَحْكُمُ بَيْنَكُمْ ف۪يمَا كُنْتُمْ ف۪يهِ تَخْتَلِفُونَ
