The Table Spread - 5:66
If they had practiced the Torah and the Gospel and what has been sent down to them, We would have showered them with blessings from head to toe, while there is a moderate people among them, but most of them do evil.
Why was the Bible revealed?
The Family Of Imran/3:50
"´I have been sent to confirm the Torah that was before me and to make lawful for you some things that were forbidden to you. I bring you a proof from your Lord, so listen to Allah and follow me.
وَمُصَدِّقاً لِمَا بَيْنَ يَدَيَّ مِنَ التَّوْرٰيةِ وَلِاُحِلَّ لَكُمْ بَعْضَ الَّذ۪ي حُرِّمَ عَلَيْكُمْ وَجِئْتُكُمْ بِاٰيَةٍ مِنْ رَبِّكُمْ فَاتَّقُوا اللّٰهَ وَاَط۪يعُونِ
The Table Spread/5:46
We sent after them Jesus the son of Mary as a confirmer of the previous Torah, and We gave him the Gospel, in which is guidance and light, confirming the previous Torah, and a guide and admonition for the righteous.
وَقَفَّيْنَا عَلٰٓى اٰثَارِهِمْ بِع۪يسَى ابْنِ مَرْيَمَ مُصَدِّقاً لِمَا بَيْنَ يَدَيْهِ مِنَ التَّوْرٰيةِۖ وَاٰتَيْنَاهُ الْاِنْج۪يلَ ف۪يهِ هُدًى وَنُورٌۙ وَمُصَدِّقاً لِمَا بَيْنَ يَدَيْهِ مِنَ التَّوْرٰيةِ وَهُدًى وَمَوْعِظَةً لِلْمُتَّق۪ينَ
