Prophet Noah - 71:23 They said, ´Do not abandon your gods. Do not leave Vedd, nor Suva, nor Yegus, nor Yeuk, nor Nesr.
The absurdity of having gods besides Allah is that they are in need of protection:
Ta-Ha/20:97 "He said, "Go away! Do not even come near it for the rest of your life. Look at your god whom you serve, We will burn it and cast it into the sea."
The Arabic Letter Sad/38:4 "They thought it strange that a warner should come to them from among themselves. The disbelievers said, "This is a sorcerer, a liar."
The Arabic Letter Sad/38:5 He made the gods one god? This is very strange indeed!
The Arabic Letter Sad/38:6 "Their leaders rushed forward and said, "Go on, stick to your gods. This is all that is required of you."
Yaseen/36:74 They took gods besides Allah. That they may help them.
Yaseen/36:75 But they cannot help them; on the contrary, they themselves are soldiers on guard to protect them.
The Prophets/21:57 "He said, "By Allah, as soon as you leave, I will execute a plan against your statues after you."
The Prophets/21:58 He tore them all to pieces, but did not touch the greatest of them, lest they might consult him.
The Prophets/21:59 "They said, "Whoever has done this to our gods is a true oppressor."
The Prophets/21:60 We heard of a young man who talked about them; he was called Abraham.

Those Who Set The Ranks/37:91 "Then he turned to his gods and said, "Will you not eat?"

The Arabic Letter Sad/38:7 We have not heard anything like this in the last religion; it is a fabrication.
Prophet Noah/71:21 "Noah said, "My Lord, they have disobeyed me and followed a man whose money and children only harm him."
