The Repentance - 9:16
Do you think that you will be left until Allah knows and distinguishes between those among you who strive hard for Him and those who take none as close friends except Allah and His Messenger and the believers? Allah is All-Knowing of what you do.

We will test you with fear, hunger, loss of money, lives, and crops. Give good news to those who are patient.
وَلَنَبْلُوَنَّكُمْ بِشَيْءٍ مِنَ الْخَوْفِ وَالْجُوعِ وَنَقْصٍ مِنَ الْاَمْوَالِ وَالْاَنْفُسِ وَالثَّمَرَاتِۜ وَبَشِّرِ الصَّابِر۪ينَۙ

اَمْ حَسِبْتُمْ اَنْ تُتْرَكُوا وَلَمَّا يَعْلَمِ اللّٰهُ الَّذ۪ينَ جَاهَدُوا مِنْكُمْ وَلَمْ يَتَّخِذُوا مِنْ دُونِ اللّٰهِ وَلَا رَسُولِه۪ وَلَا الْمُؤْمِن۪ينَ وَل۪يجَةًۜ وَاللّٰهُ خَب۪يرٌ بِمَا تَعْمَلُونَ۟
Muhammad/47:31
We will test you and try your qualities until We bring out from among you those who strive and those who persevere against hardship.
وَلَنَبْلُوَنَّكُمْ حَتّٰى نَعْلَمَ الْمُجَاهِد۪ينَ مِنْكُمْ وَالصَّابِر۪ينَۙ وَنَبْلُوَ۬ا اَخْبَارَكُمْ
The City/90:4
We have created man in the midst of difficulties (so that he may resist).
لَقَدْ خَلَقْنَا الْاِنْسَانَ ف۪ي كَبَدٍۜ
The Cow/2:155

The Cow/2:214
"Or do you think that you will enter Paradise until the like of what happened to those before you befalls you? They suffered hardship and distress and were so shaken that the apostle and those who believed with him said, "When is the help of Allah?"Know well that Allah´s help is near."
اَمْ حَسِبْتُمْ اَنْ تَدْخُلُوا الْجَنَّةَ وَلَمَّا يَأْتِكُمْ مَثَلُ الَّذ۪ينَ خَلَوْا مِنْ قَبْلِكُمْۜ مَسَّتْهُمُ الْبَأْسَٓاءُ وَالضَّرَّٓاءُ وَزُلْزِلُوا حَتّٰى يَقُولَ الرَّسُولُ وَالَّذ۪ينَ اٰمَنُوا مَعَهُ مَتٰى نَصْرُ اللّٰهِۜ اَلَٓا اِنَّ نَصْرَ اللّٰهِ قَر۪يبٌ
The Family Of Imran/3:142
Do you think that you will enter Paradise until Allah reveals the workers among you and separates those who are patient?
اَمْ حَسِبْتُمْ اَنْ تَدْخُلُوا الْجَنَّةَ وَلَمَّا يَعْلَمِ اللّٰهُ الَّذ۪ينَ جَاهَدُوا مِنْكُمْ وَيَعْلَمَ الصَّابِر۪ينَ
Prophet Hud/11:7
"He it is Who created the heavens and the earth in six days, to test which of you is the best in work. His sovereignty was over the waters. Nevertheless, if you say to the disbelievers, "You will be resurrected after death,"they will say, "This is only clear magic."
وَهُوَ الَّذ۪ي خَلَقَ السَّمٰوَاتِ وَالْاَرْضَ ف۪ي سِتَّةِ اَيَّامٍ وَكَانَ عَرْشُهُ عَلَى الْمَٓاءِ لِيَبْلُوَكُمْ اَيُّكُمْ اَحْسَنُ عَمَلاًۜ وَلَئِنْ قُلْتَ اِنَّكُمْ مَبْعُوثُونَ مِنْ بَعْدِ الْمَوْتِ لَيَقُولَنَّ الَّذ۪ينَ كَفَرُٓوا اِنْ هٰذَٓا اِلَّا سِحْرٌ مُب۪ينٌ
The Cave/18:7
We have adorned the earth with its materials to test who will be righteous.
اِنَّا جَعَلْنَا مَا عَلَى الْاَرْضِ ز۪ينَةً لَهَا لِنَبْلُوَهُمْ اَيُّهُمْ اَحْسَنُ عَمَلاً
The Believers/23:115
"Do you think that We created you for nothing and that you will not return to Us"?"
اَفَحَسِبْتُمْ اَنَّمَا خَلَقْنَاكُمْ عَبَثاً وَاَنَّكُمْ اِلَيْنَا لَا تُرْجَعُونَ
The Criterion/25:20
All the messengers whom We sent before you used to eat and wander in the bazaars. We made you a test for one another; can you endure? Your Lord is the All-Seeing.
وَمَٓا اَرْسَلْنَا قَبْلَكَ مِنَ الْمُرْسَل۪ينَ اِلَّٓا اِنَّهُمْ لَيَأْكُلُونَ الطَّعَامَ وَيَمْشُونَ فِي الْاَسْوَاقِۜ وَجَعَلْنَا بَعْضَكُمْ لِبَعْضٍ فِتْنَةًۜ اَتَصْبِرُونَۚ وَكَانَ رَبُّكَ بَص۪يراً۟
The Spider/29:2
"Do people think that they will be left untested just by saying, "We believe"?"
اَحَسِبَ النَّاسُ اَنْ يُتْرَكُٓوا اَنْ يَقُولُٓوا اٰمَنَّا وَهُمْ لَا يُفْتَنُونَ
