In the context of verses 81, 82...89: A reference to the polytheists of Mecca who took prophets, religious leaders and angels as gods besides Allah, hoping for their intercession (help) in the Resurrection:

Allah is the sole Ruler of the heavens and the earth, and He has taken no helper in this matter:

A reference to the disbelievers who defiantly ask the time of the end of the clock/world, confident that it will never happen:

It is also meant that in the Resurrection you will be brought back to Allah, not to the false gods whom you have taken in the hope of their help:
