| بِسْمِ اللّٰهِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّح۪يمِ | |
|
وَاذْكُرْ فِي الْكِتَابِ اِبْرٰه۪يمَۜ اِنَّهُ كَانَ صِدّ۪يقاً نَبِياًّ
|
|
|
19:42
"He said to his father, "My father, why do you serve that which does not hear or see or benefit you?"
اِذْ قَالَ لِاَب۪يهِ يَٓا اَبَتِ لِمَ تَعْبُدُ مَا لَا يَسْمَعُ وَلَا يُبْصِرُ وَلَا يُغْن۪ي عَنْكَ شَيْـٔاً

|
19:43
My father, a knowledge has come to me which has not come to you. Follow me and I will guide you to a straight path.
يَٓا اَبَتِ اِنّ۪ي قَدْ جَٓاءَن۪ي مِنَ الْعِلْمِ مَا لَمْ يَأْتِكَ فَاتَّبِعْن۪ٓي اَهْدِكَ صِرَاطاً سَوِياًّ
|
|
|
يَٓا اَبَتِ لَا تَعْبُدِ الشَّيْطَانَۜ اِنَّ الشَّيْطَانَ كَانَ لِلرَّحْمٰنِ عَصِياًّ
|
|
|
19:45
My father, I fear that you may be punished by the Most Merciful and that you may be a friend of Satan.
يَٓا اَبَتِ اِنّ۪ٓي اَخَافُ اَنْ يَمَسَّكَ عَذَابٌ مِنَ الرَّحْمٰنِ فَتَكُونَ لِلشَّيْطَانِ وَلِياًّ

|
19:46
"(His father said:) "Are you turning away from my gods, Abraham? If you do not stop this, I will stone you, go away from me!"
قَالَ اَرَاغِبٌ اَنْتَ عَنْ اٰلِهَت۪ي يَٓا اِبْرٰه۪يمُۚ لَئِنْ لَمْ تَنْتَهِ۬ لَاَرْجُمَنَّكَ وَاهْجُرْن۪ي مَلِياًّ
|
|
|
19:47
"Peace be upon you,"he said, "I will beg my Lord for your forgiveness; He is most merciful to me."
قَالَ سَلَامٌ عَلَيْكَۚ سَاَسْتَغْفِرُ لَكَ رَبّ۪يۜ اِنَّهُ كَانَ ب۪ي حَفِياًّ

|
19:48
I am leaving you and those whom you call upon besides Allah, I call upon my Lord, and I hope that I will not be unfortunate in calling upon my Lord.
وَاَعْتَزِلُكُمْ وَمَا تَدْعُونَ مِنْ دُونِ اللّٰهِ وَاَدْعُوا رَبّ۪يۘ عَسٰٓى اَلَّٓا اَكُونَ بِدُعَٓاءِ رَبّ۪ي شَقِياًّ

|
19:49
When he left them and those whom he served besides Allah, We gave him (Abraham) Isaac and Jacob. We made them all prophets.
فَلَمَّا اعْتَزَلَهُمْ وَمَا يَعْبُدُونَ مِنْ دُونِ اللّٰهِۙ وَهَبْنَا لَـهُٓ اِسْحٰقَ وَيَعْقُوبَۜ وَكُلاًّ جَعَلْنَا نَبِياًّ
|
|
|
وَوَهَبْنَا لَهُمْ مِنْ رَحْمَتِنَا وَجَعَلْنَا لَهُمْ لِسَانَ صِدْقٍ عَلِياًّ۟

|
|
19:51
Remember Moses in the Book. He was one who devoted himself completely. He was a messenger, a prophet.
وَاذْكُرْ فِي الْكِتَابِ مُوسٰىۘ اِنَّهُ كَانَ مُخْلَصاً وَكَانَ رَسُولاً نَبِياًّ
|
|
|
وَنَادَيْنَاهُ مِنْ جَانِبِ الطُّورِ الْاَيْمَنِ وَقَرَّبْنَاهُ نَجِياًّ
|
|
|
وَوَهَبْنَا لَهُ مِنْ رَحْمَتِنَٓا اَخَاهُ هٰرُونَ نَبِياًّ
|
|
|
19:54
Remember Ishmael in the Book. He was a man who kept his word. He was also a messenger, a prophet.
وَاذْكُرْ فِي الْكِتَابِ اِسْمٰع۪يلَۘ اِنَّهُ كَانَ صَادِقَ الْوَعْدِ وَكَانَ رَسُولاً نَبِياًّۚ
|
|
|
وَكَانَ يَأْمُرُ اَهْلَهُ بِالصَّلٰوةِ وَالزَّكٰوةِۖ وَكَانَ عِنْدَ رَبِّه۪ مَرْضِياًّ
|
|
|
وَاذْكُرْ فِي الْكِتَابِ اِدْر۪يسَۘ اِنَّهُ كَانَ صِدّ۪يقاً نَبِياًّۗ
|
|
|
وَرَفَعْنَاهُ مَكَاناً عَلِياًّ
|
|
|
19:58
These are some of the prophets whom Allah has blessed. From the descendants of Adam, from those whom We carried with Noah, from the descendants of Abraham and Israel. They are those whom We have guided and chosen. When the verses of the Most Merciful are recited to them, they prostrate themselves weeping.
اُو۬لٰٓئِكَ الَّذ۪ينَ اَنْعَمَ اللّٰهُ عَلَيْهِمْ مِنَ النَّبِيّ۪نَ مِنْ ذُرِّيَّةِ اٰدَمَ وَمِمَّنْ حَمَلْنَا مَعَ نُوحٍۘ وَمِنْ ذُرِّيَّةِ اِبْرٰه۪يمَ وَاِسْرَٓائ۪لَ وَمِمَّنْ هَدَيْنَا وَاجْتَبَيْنَاۜ اِذَا تُتْلٰى عَلَيْهِمْ اٰيَاتُ الرَّحْمٰنِ خَرُّوا سُجَّداً وَبُكِياًّ ۩

|
19:59
Those who came after them lost the prayer and followed their desires. Indeed, they will suffer calamity.
فَخَلَفَ مِنْ بَعْدِهِمْ خَلْفٌ اَضَاعُوا الصَّلٰوةَ وَاتَّبَعُوا الشَّهَوَاتِ فَسَوْفَ يَلْقَوْنَ غَياًّۙ
|
|
|
19:60
Except those who repent, believe and act righteously. They will enter Paradise without the slightest injustice.
اِلَّا مَنْ تَابَ وَاٰمَنَ وَعَمِلَ صَالِحاً فَاُو۬لٰٓئِكَ يَدْخُلُونَ الْجَنَّةَ وَلَا يُظْلَمُونَ شَيْـٔاًۙ
