بِسْمِ اللّٰهِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّح۪يمِ

38:41 "Remember Our servant Ayyub: He cried out to his Lord: "My Lord, the devil has made me weary and painful"."
وَاذْكُرْ عَبْدَنَٓا اَيُّوبَۢ اِذْ نَادٰى رَبَّهُٓ اَنّ۪ي مَسَّنِيَ الشَّيْطَانُ بِنُصْبٍ وَعَذَابٍۜ

38:42 Stamp your foot on the ground. Here is a cold spring for washing and drinking.
اُرْكُضْ بِرِجْلِكَۚ هٰذَا مُغْتَسَلٌ بَارِدٌ وَشَرَابٌ

38:43 We returned to him his offspring with a multiplicity of them. This is a mercy and a message from Us to those who have understanding.
وَوَهَبْنَا لَهُٓ اَهْلَهُ وَمِثْلَهُمْ مَعَهُمْ رَحْمَةً مِنَّا وَذِكْرٰى لِاُو۬لِي الْاَلْبَابِ

38:44 "Now take a staff in your hand and set out. Do not break your oath."We found him patient. What a good servant! He was always turning."
وَخُذْ بِيَدِكَ ضِغْثاً فَاضْرِبْ بِه۪ وَلَا تَحْنَثْۜ اِنَّا وَجَدْنَاهُ صَابِراًۜ نِعْمَ الْعَبْدُۜ اِنَّهُٓ اَوَّابٌ

38:45 Remember our servants Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. They were resourceful, far-sighted.
وَاذْكُرْ عِبَادَنَٓا اِبْرٰه۪يمَ وَاِسْحٰقَ وَيَعْقُوبَ اُو۬لِي الْاَيْد۪ي وَالْاَبْصَارِ

38:46 We made them pure because they thought only of the Hereafter.
اِنَّٓا اَخْلَصْنَاهُمْ بِخَالِصَةٍ ذِكْرَى الدَّارِۚ
1
38:47 They were chosen of the good ones with Us.
وَاِنَّهُمْ عِنْدَنَا لَمِنَ الْمُصْطَفَيْنَ الْاَخْيَارِ
3
38:48 And remember Ishmael and Elyesa and Zulkifl; they were of the good.
وَاذْكُرْ اِسْمٰع۪يلَ وَالْيَسَعَ وَذَا الْـكِفْلِۜ وَكُلٌّ مِنَ الْاَخْيَارِۜ

38:49 This is a message: A good future for the righteous,
هٰذَا ذِكْرٌۜ وَاِنَّ لِلْمُتَّق۪ينَ لَحُسْنَ مَاٰبٍۙ

38:50 And Gardens of Adn with gates opened to them.
جَنَّاتِ عَدْنٍ مُفَتَّحَةً لَهُمُ الْاَبْوَابُۚ

38:51 Therein they ask for abundant fruit and drink in comfort.
مُتَّكِـ۪ٔينَ ف۪يهَا يَدْعُونَ ف۪يهَا بِفَاكِهَةٍ كَث۪يرَةٍ وَشَرَابٍ

38:52 With them are their peers looking into their eyes.
وَعِنْدَهُمْ قَاصِرَاتُ الطَّرْفِ اَتْرَابٌ

38:53 This is what you have been promised for the Day of Reckoning.
هٰذَا مَا تُوعَدُونَ لِيَوْمِ الْحِسَابِ

38:54 This sustenance of ours will not be exhausted.
اِنَّ هٰذَا لَرِزْقُنَا مَا لَهُ مِنْ نَفَادٍۚ
1
38:55 This is how it is, but the transgressors deserve an evil place.
هٰذَاۜ وَاِنَّ لِلطَّاغ۪ينَ لَشَرَّ مَاٰبٍۙ
4
38:56 They will burn in Hell; what an evil abode.
جَهَنَّمَۚ يَصْلَوْنَهَاۚ فَبِئْسَ الْمِهَادُ

38:57 Let them taste it: Boiling water and pus.
هٰذَاۙ فَلْيَذُوقُوهُ حَم۪يمٌ وَغَسَّاقٌۙ

38:58 There are others like these.
وَاٰخَرُ مِنْ شَكْلِه۪ٓ اَزْوَاجٌۜ

38:59 "These are a group of people who are being dragged along with you."(when they are told, the leaders in Hell will say:) "They are not welcome. They will burn in the Fire."
هٰذَا فَوْجٌ مُقْتَحِمٌ مَعَكُمْۚ لَا مَرْحَباً بِهِمْۜ اِنَّهُمْ صَالُوا النَّارِ

38:60 "They will say, "Indeed you are not welcome. You brought us into this situation; what an evil end!"
قَالُوا بَلْ اَنْتُمْ۠ لَا مَرْحَباً بِكُمْۜ اَنْتُمْ قَدَّمْتُمُوهُ لَنَاۚ فَبِئْسَ الْقَرَارُ
