بِسْمِ اللّٰهِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّح۪يمِ
4
38:61 "They add: "Our Lord, whoever put us in this condition, increase his punishment in the Fire by doubling it."
قَالُوا رَبَّنَا مَنْ قَدَّمَ لَنَا هٰذَا فَزِدْهُ عَذَاباً ضِعْفاً فِي النَّارِ
4
38:62 How is it that we do not see those whom we consider evil?
وَقَالُوا مَا لَنَا لَا نَرٰى رِجَالاً كُنَّا نَعُدُّهُمْ مِنَ الْاَشْرَارِۜ

38:63 Have we been mocking at them, or have we lost sight of them?
اَتَّخَذْنَاهُمْ سِخْرِياًّ اَمْ زَاغَتْ عَنْهُمُ الْاَبْصَارُ

38:64 It is a fact that the inhabitants of Hell quarrel with each other.
اِنَّ ذٰلِكَ لَحَقٌّ تَخَاصُمُ اَهْلِ النَّارِ۟
5
38:65 "Say, "I am only a warner, and there is no god but Allah, the One and Sovereign."
قُلْ اِنَّـمَٓا اَنَا۬ مُنْذِرٌۗ وَمَا مِنْ اِلٰهٍ اِلَّا اللّٰهُ الْوَاحِدُ الْقَهَّارُۚ

38:66 The Lord of the heavens and the earth and all that is between them, the Exalted, the Forgiving.
رَبُّ السَّمٰوَاتِ وَالْاَرْضِ وَمَا بَيْنَهُمَا الْعَز۪يزُ الْغَفَّارُ

38:67 "Say, "This is a great news."
قُلْ هُوَ نَبَؤٌا عَظ۪يمٌۙ

38:68 But you turn away from it.
اَنْتُمْ عَنْهُ مُعْرِضُونَ

38:69 I had no knowledge of what was going on in the Great Society while they were disputing.
مَا كَانَ لِيَ مِنْ عِلْمٍ بِالْمَلَأِ الْاَعْلٰٓى اِذْ يَخْتَصِمُونَ

38:70 It is revealed to me because I am a clear warner.
اِنْ يُوحٰٓى اِلَيَّ اِلَّٓا اَنَّمَٓا اَنَا۬ نَذ۪يرٌ مُب۪ينٌ
4
38:71 "Your Lord had said to the angels, "I will create a human being from clay."
اِذْ قَالَ رَبُّكَ لِلْمَلٰٓئِكَةِ اِنّ۪ي خَالِقٌ بَشَراً مِنْ ط۪ينٍ

38:72 When I form him and breathe into him of My spirit, prostrate yourselves to him.
فَاِذَا سَوَّيْتُهُ وَنَفَخْتُ ف۪يهِ مِنْ رُوح۪ي فَقَعُوا لَهُ سَاجِد۪ينَ

38:73 All the angels prostrated themselves to him;
فَسَجَدَ الْمَلٰٓئِكَةُ كُلُّهُمْ اَجْمَعُونَۙ
2
38:74 Except Iblis. He was arrogant and ungrateful.
اِلَّٓا اِبْل۪يسَۜ اِسْتَكْـبَرَ وَكَانَ مِنَ الْكَافِر۪ينَ
2
38:75 O Iblis, what prevents you from prostrating to that which I created with my hands? Were you arrogant? Or did you rebel?
قَالَ يَٓا اِبْل۪يسُ مَا مَنَعَكَ اَنْ تَسْجُدَ لِمَا خَلَقْتُ بِيَدَيَّۜ اَسْتَكْـبَرْتَ اَمْ كُنْتَ مِنَ الْعَال۪ينَ

38:76 "He said, "I am superior to him,"he said, "You created me from the Fire and created him from clay."
قَالَ اَنَا۬ خَيْرٌ مِنْهُۜ خَلَقْتَن۪ي مِنْ نَارٍ وَخَلَقْتَهُ مِنْ ط۪ينٍ

38:77 "Get out of there,"he said, "you are dismissed."
قَالَ فَاخْرُجْ مِنْهَا فَاِنَّكَ رَج۪يمٌۚ
4
38:78 You deserve my curse until the Day of Judgment.
وَاِنَّ عَلَيْكَ لَعْنَت۪ٓي اِلٰى يَوْمِ الدّ۪ينِ

38:79 "He said, "My Lord, postpone me until the Day of Resurrection."
قَالَ رَبِّ فَاَنْظِرْن۪ٓي اِلٰى يَوْمِ يُبْعَثُونَ

38:80 "He said, "You have been given a term."
قَالَ فَاِنَّكَ مِنَ الْمُنْظَر۪ينَۙ
