| بِسْمِ اللّٰهِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّح۪يمِ | |
|
وَلِيُمَحِّصَ اللّٰهُ الَّذ۪ينَ اٰمَنُوا وَيَمْحَقَ الْكَافِر۪ينَ
|
|
|
3:142
Do you think that you will enter Paradise until Allah reveals the workers among you and separates those who are patient?
اَمْ حَسِبْتُمْ اَنْ تَدْخُلُوا الْجَنَّةَ وَلَمَّا يَعْلَمِ اللّٰهُ الَّذ۪ينَ جَاهَدُوا مِنْكُمْ وَيَعْلَمَ الصَّابِر۪ينَ
|
|
|
3:143
You were longing for death before you met it. But now that you have seen it, you are waiting for it.
وَلَقَدْ كُنْتُمْ تَمَنَّوْنَ الْمَوْتَ مِنْ قَبْلِ اَنْ تَلْقَوْهُۖ فَقَدْ رَاَيْتُمُوهُ وَاَنْتُمْ تَنْظُرُونَ۟
|
|
|
3:144
Muhammad is only a messenger and many messengers have come before him. If he dies or is killed, will you turn back? The apostates can do no harm to Allah. Allah will reward those who give thanks.
وَمَا مُحَمَّدٌ اِلَّا رَسُولٌۚ قَدْ خَلَتْ مِنْ قَبْلِهِ الرُّسُلُۜ اَفَا۬ئِنْ مَاتَ اَوْ قُتِلَ انْقَلَبْتُمْ عَلٰٓى اَعْقَابِكُمْۜ وَمَنْ يَنْقَلِبْ عَلٰى عَقِبَيْهِ فَلَنْ يَضُرَّ اللّٰهَ شَيْـٔاًۜ وَسَيَجْزِي اللّٰهُ الشَّاكِر۪ينَ

|
|
3:145
No one can die without Allah´s permission. Death has an appointed term. Whoever desires the blessing of this world, We will give him of it, and whoever desires the blessing of the Hereafter, We will give him of it. We will reward those who give thanks.
وَمَا كَانَ لِنَفْسٍ اَنْ تَمُوتَ اِلَّا بِاِذْنِ اللّٰهِ كِتَاباً مُؤَجَّلاًۜ وَمَنْ يُرِدْ ثَوَابَ الدُّنْيَا نُؤْتِه۪ مِنْهَاۚ وَمَنْ يُرِدْ ثَوَابَ الْاٰخِرَةِ نُؤْتِه۪ مِنْهَاۜ وَسَنَجْزِي الشَّاكِر۪ينَ

|
|
3:146
How many prophets fought with them, many who were devoted to their Lord. They did not slacken in the way of Allah because of what befell them, nor did they give in. Allah loves those who persevere.
وَكَاَيِّنْ مِنْ نَبِيٍّ قَاتَلَۙ مَعَهُ رِبِّيُّونَ كَث۪يرٌۚ فَمَا وَهَنُوا لِمَٓا اَصَابَهُمْ ف۪ي سَب۪يلِ اللّٰهِ وَمَا ضَعُفُوا وَمَا اسْتَكَانُواۜ وَاللّٰهُ يُحِبُّ الصَّابِر۪ينَ

|
3:147
"Their words were only this: "Our Lord, forgive us our sins and our excesses, and keep our feet firm, and give us victory over the disbelieving people."
وَمَا كَانَ قَوْلَهُمْ اِلَّٓا اَنْ قَالُوا رَبَّنَا اغْفِرْ لَنَا ذُنُوبَنَا وَاِسْرَافَنَا ف۪ٓي اَمْرِنَا وَثَبِّتْ اَقْدَامَنَا وَانْصُرْنَا عَلَى الْقَوْمِ الْكَافِر۪ينَ

|
|
3:148
Allah gave them the best of this world and the best of the Hereafter. Allah loves those who do good.
فَاٰتٰيهُمُ اللّٰهُ ثَوَابَ الدُّنْيَا وَحُسْنَ ثَوَابِ الْاٰخِرَةِۜ وَاللّٰهُ يُحِبُّ الْمُحْسِن۪ينَ۟

|
3:149
O you who believe, if you follow those who disbelieve, they will turn you back and you will be losers.
يَٓا اَيُّهَا الَّذ۪ينَ اٰمَنُٓوا اِنْ تُط۪يعُوا الَّذ۪ينَ كَفَرُوا يَرُدُّوكُمْ عَلٰٓى اَعْقَابِكُمْ فَتَنْقَلِبُوا خَاسِر۪ينَ
|
|
|
بَلِ اللّٰهُ مَوْلٰيكُمْۚ وَهُوَ خَيْرُ النَّاصِر۪ينَ
|
|
|
3:151
We will strike fear into the hearts of the disbelievers because they associate with Allah those who have no power or authority. Their abode is the Fire. How evil is the abode of the wrongdoers!
سَنُلْق۪ي ف۪ي قُلُوبِ الَّذ۪ينَ كَفَرُوا الرُّعْبَ بِمَٓا اَشْرَكُوا بِاللّٰهِ مَا لَمْ يُنَزِّلْ بِه۪ سُلْطَاناًۚ وَمَأْوٰيهُمُ النَّارُۜ وَبِئْسَ مَثْوَى الظَّالِم۪ينَ

|
3:152
Allah kept His promise to you, and indeed you destroyed them by His permission. But after He showed you what you loved, you hesitated and quarreled among yourselves about the war and did not listen to the orders. Some of you wanted the world and some the Hereafter. Then He turned you away from them as a test and forgave you in spite of everything. Allah is bountiful to those who believe
وَلَقَدْ صَدَقَكُمُ اللّٰهُ وَعْدَهُٓ اِذْ تَحُسُّونَهُمْ بِاِذْنِه۪ۚ حَتّٰٓى اِذَا فَشِلْتُمْ وَتَنَازَعْتُمْ فِي الْاَمْرِ وَعَصَيْتُمْ مِنْ بَعْدِ مَٓا اَرٰيكُمْ مَا تُحِبُّونَۜ مِنْكُمْ مَنْ يُر۪يدُ الدُّنْيَا وَمِنْكُمْ مَنْ يُر۪يدُ الْاٰخِرَةَۚ ثُمَّ صَرَفَكُمْ عَنْهُمْ لِيَبْتَلِيَكُمْۚ وَلَقَدْ عَفَا عَنْكُمْۜ وَاللّٰهُ ذُوفَضْلٍ عَلَى الْمُؤْمِن۪ينَ

|
|
3:153
You were climbing the hill without looking back at anyone, although the Messenger called you from behind. He gave you sorrow upon sorrow so that you might not grieve for what you had lost and what had happened to you. Allah is All-Knowing of what you do.
اِذْ تُصْعِدُونَ وَلَا تَلْوُ۫نَ عَلٰٓى اَحَدٍ وَالرَّسُولُ يَدْعُوكُمْ ف۪ٓي اُخْرٰيكُمْ فَاَثَابَكُمْ غَماًّ بِغَمٍّ لِكَيْلَا تَحْزَنُوا عَلٰى مَا فَاتَكُمْ وَلَا مَٓا اَصَابَكُمْۜ وَاللّٰهُ خَب۪يرٌ بِمَا تَعْمَلُونَ

|
3:154
"Then after that sorrow, He sent down upon you a safe sleep which calmed a group of you. Some of you were self-absorbed and self-centered, forming false ideas about Allah, as in the days of ignorance, and saying, "Do we have any authority in this matter?"Say, "All authority belongs to Allah."They were hiding in their hearts what they did not reveal to you. They say, "If we had any authority, we would not have been killed here."Say, "Even if you had been in your homes, those among you who were appointed to die would have crawled to the place where they would have fallen."Allah thus tries what is in your breasts and purifies what is in your hearts. Allah knows the most secret thoughts."
ثُمَّ اَنْزَلَ عَلَيْكُمْ مِنْ بَعْدِ الْغَمِّ اَمَنَةً نُعَاساً يَغْشٰى طَٓائِفَةً مِنْكُمْۙ وَطَٓائِفَةٌ قَدْ اَهَمَّتْهُمْ اَنْفُسُهُمْ يَظُنُّونَ بِاللّٰهِ غَيْرَ الْحَقِّ ظَنَّ الْجَاهِلِيَّةِۜ يَقُولُونَ هَلْ لَنَا مِنَ الْاَمْرِ مِنْ شَيْءٍۜ قُلْ اِنَّ الْاَمْرَ كُلَّهُ لِلّٰهِۜ يُخْفُونَ ف۪ٓي اَنْفُسِهِمْ مَا لَا يُبْدُونَ لَكَۜ يَقُولُونَ لَوْ كَانَ لَنَا مِنَ الْاَمْرِ شَيْءٌ مَا قُتِلْنَا هٰهُنَاۜ قُلْ لَوْ كُنْتُمْ ف۪ي بُيُوتِكُمْ لَبَرَزَ الَّذ۪ينَ كُتِبَ عَلَيْهِمُ الْقَتْلُ اِلٰى مَضَاجِعِهِمْۚ وَلِيَبْتَلِيَ اللّٰهُ مَا ف۪ي صُدُورِكُمْ وَلِيُمَحِّصَ مَا ف۪ي قُلُوبِكُمْۜ وَاللّٰهُ عَل۪يمٌ بِذَاتِ الصُّدُورِ
|
|
|
3:155
On the day when the two armies clashed, Satan wanted to mislead those of you who returned because of some deeds they had done. But Allah forgave them. Indeed Allah is Most Forgiving, Most Compassionate.
اِنَّ الَّذ۪ينَ تَوَلَّوْا مِنْكُمْ يَوْمَ الْتَقَى الْجَمْعَانِۙ اِنَّمَا اسْتَزَلَّهُمُ الشَّيْطَانُ بِبَعْضِ مَا كَسَبُواۚ وَلَقَدْ عَفَا اللّٰهُ عَنْهُمْۜ اِنَّ اللّٰهَ غَفُورٌ حَل۪يمٌ۟
|
|
|
3:156
"Believers! Do not be like the disbelievers who say of their brothers who traveled or went to war, "Had they stayed with us, they would neither have died nor been killed". Allah makes this kind of thinking a source of sorrow in their hearts. It is Allah who gives life and Allah who kills. Allah sees what you do."
يَٓا اَيُّهَا الَّذ۪ينَ اٰمَنُوا لَا تَكُونُوا كَالَّذ۪ينَ كَفَرُوا وَقَالُوا لِاِخْوَانِهِمْ اِذَا ضَرَبُوا فِي الْاَرْضِ اَوْ كَانُوا غُزًّى لَوْ كَانُوا عِنْدَنَا مَا مَاتُوا وَمَا قُتِلُواۚ لِيَجْعَلَ اللّٰهُ ذٰلِكَ حَسْرَةً ف۪ي قُلُوبِهِمْۜ وَاللّٰهُ يُحْـي۪ وَيُم۪يتُۜ وَاللّٰهُ بِمَا تَعْمَلُونَ بَص۪يرٌ

|
|
3:157
If you die or are killed in the way of Allah, you will have Allah´s forgiveness and mercy, which is better than all that they gather.
وَلَئِنْ قُتِلْتُمْ ف۪ي سَب۪يلِ اللّٰهِ اَوْ مُتُّمْ لَمَغْفِرَةٌ مِنَ اللّٰهِ وَرَحْمَةٌ خَيْرٌ مِمَّا يَجْمَعُونَ
|
|
|
وَلَئِنْ مُتُّمْ اَوْ قُتِلْتُمْ لَاِلَى اللّٰهِ تُحْشَرُونَ
|
|
|
3:159
You were kind to them as a gift from Allah. Had you been rude and hard-hearted, they would have scattered around you. Forgive them, ask for their forgiveness and consult them about what to do. And when you have decided, trust in Allah; Allah loves those who trust.
فَبِمَا رَحْمَةٍ مِنَ اللّٰهِ لِنْتَ لَهُمْۚ وَلَوْ كُنْتَ فَظًّا غَل۪يظَ الْقَلْبِ لَانْفَضُّوا مِنْ حَوْلِكَۖ فَاعْفُ عَنْهُمْ وَاسْتَغْفِرْ لَهُمْ وَشَاوِرْهُمْ فِي الْاَمْرِۚ فَاِذَا عَزَمْتَ فَتَوَكَّلْ عَلَى اللّٰهِۜ اِنَّ اللّٰهَ يُحِبُّ الْمُتَوَكِّل۪ينَ

|
|
3:160
If Allah supports you, no power can defeat you. If He forsakes you, who will be able to help you? Let the believers trust in Allah.
اِنْ يَنْصُرْكُمُ اللّٰهُ فَلَا غَالِبَ لَكُمْۚ وَاِنْ يَخْذُلْكُمْ فَمَنْ ذَا الَّذ۪ي يَنْصُرُكُمْ مِنْ بَعْدِه۪ۜ وَعَلَى اللّٰهِ فَلْيَتَوَكَّلِ الْمُؤْمِنُونَ

|
