بِسْمِ اللّٰهِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّح۪يمِ
1
43:1 HH. M.
حٰمٓۜ
1
43:2 By the clear Book,
وَالْكِتَابِ الْمُب۪ينِۙ
2
43:3 We have made it a Quran with a perfect language so that you may understand.
اِنَّا جَعَلْنَاهُ قُرْءٰناً عَرَبِياًّ لَعَلَّكُمْ تَعْقِلُونَۚ

43:4 It is preserved in the Book of the Master, superior in Our sight, wise.
وَاِنَّهُ ف۪ٓي اُمِّ الْكِتَابِ لَدَيْنَا لَعَلِيٌّ حَك۪يمٌۜ

43:5 Shall We stop conveying the Message to you because you are a transgressing people?
اَفَنَضْرِبُ عَنْكُمُ الذِّكْرَ صَفْحاً اَنْ كُنْتُمْ قَوْماً مُسْرِف۪ينَ

43:6 How many messengers We sent to those before them.
وَكَمْ اَرْسَلْنَا مِنْ نَبِيٍّ فِي الْاَوَّل۪ينَ

43:7 But they mocked at every messenger who came to them.
وَمَا يَأْت۪يهِمْ مِنْ نَبِيٍّ اِلَّا كَانُوا بِه۪ يَسْتَهْزِؤُ۫نَ
9
43:8 We destroyed the mightier of them, and the example of those before them has passed away.
فَاَهْلَكْـنَٓا اَشَدَّ مِنْهُمْ بَطْشاً وَمَضٰى مَثَلُ الْاَوَّل۪ينَ

43:9 "If you ask them, "Who created the heavens and the earth?"they will say, "The Almighty and the All-Knowing created them"."
وَلَئِنْ سَاَلْتَهُمْ مَنْ خَلَقَ السَّمٰوَاتِ وَالْاَرْضَ لَيَقُولُنَّ خَلَقَهُنَّ الْعَز۪يزُ الْعَل۪يمُۙ

43:10 He it is Who has made the earth suitable for you to dwell on and has made therein paths for you to travel.
اَلَّذ۪ي جَعَلَ لَكُمُ الْاَرْضَ مَهْداً وَجَعَلَ لَكُمْ ف۪يهَا سُبُلاً لَعَلَّكُمْ تَهْتَدُونَۚ

43:11 He it is Who sent down water from the sky according to a measure, and with it We revived a dead land. That is how you are brought forth.
وَالَّذ۪ي نَزَّلَ مِنَ السَّمَٓاءِ مَٓاءً بِقَدَرٍۚ فَاَنْشَرْنَا بِه۪ بَلْدَةً مَيْتاًۚ كَذٰلِكَ تُخْرَجُونَ

43:12 He created all pairs and created for you ships and livestock that you may ride on them.
وَالَّذ۪ي خَلَقَ الْاَزْوَاجَ كُلَّهَا وَجَعَلَ لَكُمْ مِنَ الْفُلْكِ وَالْاَنْعَامِ مَا تَرْكَبُونَۙ

43:13 "That you may ride on them, and when you are on them, you may think of the favor of your Lord upon you and say: "Glory be to Him Who has given this to our command. We could not have controlled them on our own."
لِتَسْتَوُ۫ا عَلٰى ظُهُورِه۪ ثُمَّ تَذْكُرُوا نِعْمَةَ رَبِّكُمْ اِذَا اسْتَوَيْتُمْ عَلَيْهِ وَتَقُولُوا سُبْحَانَ الَّذ۪ي سَخَّرَ لَنَا هٰذَا وَمَا كُنَّا لَهُ مُقْرِن۪ينَۙ

43:14 And we shall return to our Lord at the end.
وَاِنَّٓا اِلٰى رَبِّنَا لَمُنْقَلِبُونَ

43:15 They set aside some of their servants as a portion for Him. Indeed man is a manifest ingrate.
وَجَعَلُوا لَهُ مِنْ عِبَادِه۪ جُزْءاًۜ اِنَّ الْاِنْسَانَ لَكَفُورٌ مُب۪ينٌۜ

43:16 Has He reserved for Himself daughters from among His creatures, but has He chosen sons for you?
اَمِ اتَّخَذَ مِمَّا يَخْلُقُ بَنَاتٍ وَاَصْفٰيكُمْ بِالْبَن۪ينَ۟

43:17 When one of them is given the glad tidings of (a daughter) whom he ascribes to the Most Merciful, his face turns black:
وَاِذَا بُشِّرَ اَحَدُهُمْ بِمَا ضَرَبَ لِلرَّحْمٰنِ مَثَلاً ظَلَّ وَجْهُهُ مُسْوَداًّ وَهُوَ كَظ۪يمٌ

43:18 "The one who was brought up in ornaments, but is incapable of fighting"?"
اَوَمَنْ يُنَشَّؤُ۬ا فِي الْحِلْيَةِ وَهُوَ فِي الْخِصَامِ غَيْرُ مُب۪ينٍ

43:19 They considered the angels, the servants of the Most Merciful, as female! Did they witness their creation? Their testimony will be recorded and they will be questioned.
وَجَعَلُوا الْمَلٰٓئِكَةَ الَّذ۪ينَ هُمْ عِبَادُ الرَّحْمٰنِ اِنَاثاًۜ اَشَهِدُوا خَلْقَهُمْۜ سَتُكْتَبُ شَهَادَتُهُمْ وَيُسْـَٔلُونَ

43:20 "They even said, "If the Most Merciful had willed, we would not have served them". They have no knowledge of this. They are only guessing."
وَقَالُوا لَوْ شَٓاءَ الرَّحْمٰنُ مَا عَبَدْنَاهُمْۜ مَا لَهُمْ بِذٰلِكَ مِنْ عِلْمٍۗ اِنْ هُمْ اِلَّا يَخْرُصُونَۜ
