بِسْمِ اللّٰهِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّح۪يمِ
7
54:1 The Hour (the end of the world) is near and the moon has split.
اِقْتَرَبَتِ السَّاعَةُ وَانْشَقَّ الْقَمَرُ
4
54:2 "If they see a miracle, they turn away and say, "It is a continuing magic"."
وَاِنْ يَرَوْا اٰيَةً يُعْرِضُوا وَيَقُولُوا سِحْرٌ مُسْتَمِرٌّ
5
54:3 They denied and followed their desires and the status quo.
وَكَذَّبُوا وَاتَّبَعُٓوا اَهْوَٓاءَهُمْ وَكُلُّ اَمْرٍ مُسْتَقِرٌّ
4
54:4 But the news has come to them, full of warnings to prevent their evil deeds.
وَلَقَدْ جَٓاءَهُمْ مِنَ الْاَنْـبَٓاءِ مَا ف۪يهِ مُزْدَجَرٌۙ

54:5 This is a superior wisdom, but the warnings do not avail.
حِكْمَةٌ بَالِغَةٌ فَمَا تُغْنِ النُّذُرُۙ
4
54:6 Pay no attention to them on the Day when the caller will call to something unseen and unrecognized,
فَتَوَلَّ عَنْهُمْۢ يَوْمَ يَدْعُ الدَّاعِ اِلٰى شَيْءٍ نُكُرٍۙ

54:7 They will come out of the graves with humiliation in their eyes, like scattered locusts...
خُشَّعاً اَبْصَارُهُمْ يَخْرُجُونَ مِنَ الْاَجْدَاثِ كَاَنَّهُمْ جَرَادٌ مُنْتَشِرٌۙ

54:8 "As they run towards the caller, the disbelievers say, "This is a hard day"."
مُهْطِع۪ينَ اِلَى الدَّاعِۜ يَقُولُ الْـكَافِرُونَ هٰذَا يَوْمٌ عَسِرٌ
9
54:9 "The people of Noah had denied before them. They denied Our servant and said, "He is mad". Indeed he was prevented."
كَذَّبَتْ قَبْلَهُمْ قَوْمُ نُوحٍ فَـكَذَّبُوا عَبْدَنَا وَقَالُوا مَجْنُونٌ وَازْدُجِرَ

54:10 "He called upon his Lord, "I am defeated; help me."
فَدَعَا رَبَّهُٓ اَنّ۪ي مَغْلُوبٌ فَانْتَصِرْ

54:11 So We opened the gates of the sky with pouring waters.
فَفَتَحْنَٓا اَبْوَابَ السَّمَٓاءِ بِمَٓاءٍ مُنْهَمِرٍۘ

54:12 And We caused springs to gush forth from the earth. Finally the waters reached the level that had been determined before.
وَفَجَّرْنَا الْاَرْضَ عُيُوناً فَالْتَقَى الْمَٓاءُ عَلٰٓى اَمْرٍ قَدْ قُدِرَۚ

54:13 We carried him on logs (tied) with the fibers of wood.
وَحَمَلْنَاهُ عَلٰى ذَاتِ اَلْوَاحٍ وَدُسُرٍۙ
7
54:14 It was flowing under Our supervision as a reward for the rejected one.
تَجْر۪ي بِاَعْيُنِنَاۚ جَزَٓاءً لِمَنْ كَانَ كُفِرَ

54:15 We left it as a lesson. Does anyone take an admonition?
وَلَقَدْ تَرَكْنَاهَٓا اٰيَةً فَهَلْ مِنْ مُدَّكِرٍ

54:16 How is My punishment and My warnings!
فَـكَيْفَ كَانَ عَذَاب۪ي وَنُذُرِ

54:17 We have made the Qur´an easy for a message; does anyone take admonition?
وَلَقَدْ يَسَّرْنَا الْقُرْاٰنَ لِلذِّكْرِ فَهَلْ مِنْ مُدَّكِرٍ

54:18 Ad also denied. How is My punishment and My warnings!
كَذَّبَتْ عَادٌ فَـكَيْفَ كَانَ عَذَاب۪ي وَنُذُرِ

54:19 We sent upon them a violent wind on a day of inauspiciousness upon inauspiciousness.
اِنَّٓا اَرْسَلْنَا عَلَيْهِمْ ر۪يحاً صَرْصَراً ف۪ي يَوْمِ نَحْسٍ مُسْتَمِرٍّۙ

54:20 It destroyed the people as if they were date-palms uprooted from their roots.
تَنْزِعُ النَّاسَۙ كَاَنَّهُمْ اَعْجَازُ نَخْلٍ مُنْقَعِرٍ
