The Thunder - 13:4
On the earth are neighboring pieces of land, vineyards, crops, and date palms with forks and without forks. We have made them different in flavor from one another, though they are all watered with the same water. Surely in this are signs and lessons for a people who use their reason.
How was the earth built?
Explained in Detail/41:9
"Say, "Do you disbelieve in Him Who created the earth in two days and do you associate partners with Him? He is the Lord of the universes."
قُلْ اَئِنَّكُمْ لَتَكْفُرُونَ بِالَّذ۪ي خَلَقَ الْاَرْضَ ف۪ي يَوْمَيْنِ وَتَجْعَلُونَ لَـهُٓ اَنْدَاداًۜ ذٰلِكَ رَبُّ الْعَالَم۪ينَۚ
The Letter Qaf/50:7
And the earth We spread out, and We placed mountains in it, and We caused all kinds of beautiful plants to grow in it.
وَالْاَرْضَ مَدَدْنَاهَا وَاَلْقَيْنَا ف۪يهَا رَوَاسِيَ وَاَنْبَتْنَا ف۪يهَا مِنْ كُلِّ زَوْجٍ بَه۪يجٍۙ
The Letter Qaf/50:8
This is an illumination and a message for every servant who turns.
تَبْصِرَةً وَذِكْرٰى لِكُلِّ عَبْدٍ مُن۪يبٍ
The Letter Qaf/50:9
And We sent down from the sky a blessed water and caused gardens and grain to grow therein.
وَنَزَّلْنَا مِنَ السَّمَٓاءِ مَٓاءً مُبَارَكاً فَاَنْبَتْنَا بِه۪ جَنَّاتٍ وَحَبَّ الْحَص۪يدِۙ
The Letter Qaf/50:10
And We raised tall date palms with clusters of buds.
وَالنَّخْلَ بَاسِقَاتٍ لَهَا طَلْعٌ نَض۪يدٌۙ
The Letter Qaf/50:11
As food for the servants. With it We revived the land, and such is the Exodus (resurrection).
رِزْقاً لِلْعِبَادِۙ وَاَحْيَيْنَا بِه۪ بَلْدَةً مَيْتاًۜ كَذٰلِكَ الْخُرُوجُ
The Scatterers/51:48
We paved the earth; how well We are the pavers.
وَالْاَرْضَ فَرَشْنَاهَا فَنِعْمَ الْمَاهِدُونَ
The Kingdom/67:15
He has given the earth under your command. Travel the earth and eat of its food. To Him is the final return.
هُوَ الَّذ۪ي جَعَلَ لَكُمُ الْاَرْضَ ذَلُولاً فَامْشُوا ف۪ي مَنَاكِبِهَا وَكُلُوا مِنْ رِزْقِه۪ۜ وَاِلَيْهِ النُّشُورُ
Prophet Noah/71:19
Allah has made the earth a dwelling place for you.
وَاللّٰهُ جَعَلَ لَـكُمُ الْاَرْضَ بِسَاطاًۙ
Prophet Noah/71:20
That you may travel therein in wide paths.
لِتَسْلُكُوا مِنْهَا سُبُلاً فِجَاجاً۟
Those sent forth/77:25
Have We not made the earth a gathering place?
اَلَمْ نَجْعَلِ الْاَرْضَ كِفَاتاًۙ
Those sent forth/77:27
Did We not place high mountains on it and make you drink sweet water?
وَجَعَلْنَا ف۪يهَا رَوَاسِيَ شَامِخَاتٍ وَاَسْقَيْنَاكُمْ مَٓاءً فُرَاتاًۜ
Those Who Pull Out/79:30
And He formed the earth into the shape of an egg
وَالْاَرْضَ بَعْدَ ذٰلِكَ دَحٰيهَاۜ
Those Who Pull Out/79:31
He brought forth from it water and pasture.
اَخْرَجَ مِنْهَا مَٓاءَهَا وَمَرْعٰيهَاۖ
The Cave/18:7
We have adorned the earth with its materials to test who will be righteous.
اِنَّا جَعَلْنَا مَا عَلَى الْاَرْضِ ز۪ينَةً لَهَا لِنَبْلُوَهُمْ اَيُّهُمْ اَحْسَنُ عَمَلاً
The Rocky Tract/15:19
We enlarged the earth and placed firm mountains in it and We created therein everything according to a perfect measure.
وَالْاَرْضَ مَدَدْنَاهَا وَاَلْقَيْنَا ف۪يهَا رَوَاسِيَ وَاَنْبَتْنَا ف۪يهَا مِنْ كُلِّ شَيْءٍ مَوْزُونٍ
The Rocky Tract/15:20
We have created therein a habitat for you and for the creatures you do not feed.
وَجَعَلْنَا لَكُمْ ف۪يهَا مَعَايِشَ وَمَنْ لَسْتُمْ لَهُ بِرَازِق۪ينَ
The Bee/16:12
He has made the night, the day, the sun and the moon at your service. The stars are also under His command. Surely there are signs in this for a people who use their intellect.
وَسَخَّرَ لَكُمُ الَّيْلَ وَالنَّهَارَۙ وَالشَّمْسَ وَالْقَمَرَۜ وَالنُّجُومُ مُسَخَّرَاتٌ بِاَمْرِه۪ۜ اِنَّ ف۪ي ذٰلِكَ لَاٰيَاتٍ لِقَوْمٍ يَعْقِلُونَۙ
The Bee/16:13
And the colorful objects He has created for you on the earth. Surely there is a lesson in this for a people who reflect.
وَمَا ذَرَاَ لَكُمْ فِي الْاَرْضِ مُخْتَلِفاً اَلْوَانُهُۜ اِنَّ ف۪ي ذٰلِكَ لَاٰيَةً لِقَوْمٍ يَذَّكَّرُونَ
The Bee/16:14
He has made the sea at your command; from it you eat fresh meat, and from it you extract ornaments for clothing and jewelry. And you see the ships sailing across the sea. So you seek His favor and perhaps you will thank Him.
وَهُوَ الَّذ۪ي سَخَّرَ الْبَحْرَ لِتَأْكُلُوا مِنْهُ لَحْماً طَرِياًّ وَتَسْتَخْرِجُوا مِنْهُ حِلْيَةً تَلْبَسُونَهَاۚ وَتَرَى الْفُلْكَ مَوَاخِرَ ف۪يهِ وَلِتَبْتَغُوا مِنْ فَضْلِه۪ وَلَعَلَّكُمْ تَشْكُرُونَ
The Bee/16:15
And He has placed in the earth stabilizers so that you may not be shaken, and rivers and roads so that you may find the way,
وَاَلْقٰى فِي الْاَرْضِ رَوَاسِيَ اَنْ تَم۪يدَ بِكُمْ وَاَنْهَاراً وَسُبُلاً لَعَلَّكُمْ تَهْتَدُونَۙ
The Bee/16:16
And the conspicuous signs They also find their way by the stars.
وَعَلَامَاتٍۜ وَبِالنَّجْمِ هُمْ يَهْتَدُونَ
Ta-Ha/20:53
He made the earth habitable for you, and made paths in it for you, and sent down water from the sky, and with it We brought forth plants of various kinds.
اَلَّذ۪ي جَعَلَ لَكُمُ الْاَرْضَ مَهْداً وَسَلَكَ لَكُمْ ف۪يهَا سُبُلاً وَاَنْزَلَ مِنَ السَّمَٓاءِ مَٓاءًۜ فَاَخْرَجْنَا بِه۪ٓ اَزْوَاجاً مِنْ نَبَاتٍ شَتّٰى
The Thunder/13:3
He built the earth and placed on it firm mountains and rivers and every kind of fruit He created, male and female. He covers the night with the day. Surely in this are signs and lessons for a thinking people.
وَهُوَ الَّذ۪ي مَدَّ الْاَرْضَ وَجَعَلَ ف۪يهَا رَوَاسِيَ وَاَنْهَاراًۜ وَمِنْ كُلِّ الثَّمَرَاتِ جَعَلَ ف۪يهَا زَوْجَيْنِ اثْنَيْنِ يُغْشِي الَّيْلَ النَّهَارَۜ اِنَّ ف۪ي ذٰلِكَ لَاٰيَاتٍ لِقَوْمٍ يَتَفَكَّرُونَ
The Prophets/21:31
We placed mountains on the earth so that it might not shake them, and We made in it wide passages for them to find the way.
وَجَعَلْنَا فِي الْاَرْضِ رَوَاسِيَ اَنْ تَم۪يدَ بِهِمْ وَجَعَلْنَا ف۪يهَا فِجَاجاً سُبُلاً لَعَلَّهُمْ يَهْتَدُونَ
The Prophets/21:32
We made the sky a protected ceiling. Yet they are indifferent to the signs in it.
وَجَعَلْنَا السَّمَٓاءَ سَقْفاً مَحْفُوظاًۚ وَهُمْ عَنْ اٰيَاتِهَا مُعْرِضُونَ
The Most Gracious/55:11
Therein are fruits and date palms with clusters.
ف۪يهَا فَاكِهَةٌۖ وَالنَّخْلُ ذَاتُ الْاَكْمَامِ
The Ants/27:61
Who made the earth a dwelling place, and caused rivers to flow between them, and placed firm mountains on it, and placed a barrier between the two waters? Another god besides Allah? Verily, most of them do not know.
اَمَّنْ جَعَلَ الْاَرْضَ قَرَاراً وَجَعَلَ خِلَالَـهَٓا اَنْهَاراً وَجَعَلَ لَهَا رَوَاسِيَ وَجَعَلَ بَيْنَ الْبَحْرَيْنِ حَاجِزاًۜ ءَاِلٰهٌ مَعَ اللّٰهِۜ بَلْ اَكْثَرُهُمْ لَا يَعْلَمُونَۜ
Luqman/31:10
He created the heavens without a pillar that you see. And He placed stabilizers on the earth that you may not be shaken, and He spread therein every kind of creature. And We rained down water from the sky, and We caused to grow therein every beautiful variety.
خَلَقَ السَّمٰوَاتِ بِغَيْرِ عَمَدٍ تَرَوْنَهَا وَاَلْقٰى فِي الْاَرْضِ رَوَاسِيَ اَنْ تَم۪يدَ بِكُمْ وَبَثَّ ف۪يهَا مِنْ كُلِّ دَٓابَّةٍۜ وَاَنْزَلْنَا مِنَ السَّمَٓاءِ مَٓاءً فَاَنْبَتْنَا ف۪يهَا مِنْ كُلِّ زَوْجٍ كَر۪يمٍ
The Ornaments of Gold/43:10
He it is Who has made the earth suitable for you to dwell on and has made therein paths for you to travel.
اَلَّذ۪ي جَعَلَ لَكُمُ الْاَرْضَ مَهْداً وَجَعَلَ لَكُمْ ف۪يهَا سُبُلاً لَعَلَّكُمْ تَهْتَدُونَۚ
The Ornaments of Gold/43:11
He it is Who sent down water from the sky according to a measure, and with it We revived a dead land. That is how you are brought forth.
وَالَّذ۪ي نَزَّلَ مِنَ السَّمَٓاءِ مَٓاءً بِقَدَرٍۚ فَاَنْشَرْنَا بِه۪ بَلْدَةً مَيْتاًۚ كَذٰلِكَ تُخْرَجُونَ
The Ornaments of Gold/43:12
He created all pairs and created for you ships and livestock that you may ride on them.
وَالَّذ۪ي خَلَقَ الْاَزْوَاجَ كُلَّهَا وَجَعَلَ لَكُمْ مِنَ الْفُلْكِ وَالْاَنْعَامِ مَا تَرْكَبُونَۙ
The News/78:12
And We established above you seven firm (heavens).
وَبَنَيْنَا فَوْقَـكُمْ سَبْعاً شِدَاداًۙ
The News/78:14
And from the clouds We sent down rain in torrents.
وَاَنْزَلْنَا مِنَ الْمُعْصِرَاتِ مَٓاءً ثَجَّاجاًۙ
The Cow/2:22
He has made the earth habitable for you and made the heaven a structure. He has sent down water from the sky and brought forth from it various crops for you as sustenance. Do not knowingly associate partners with Allah.
اَلَّذ۪ي جَعَلَ لَكُمُ الْاَرْضَ فِرَاشاً وَالسَّمَٓاءَ بِنَٓاءًۖ وَاَنْزَلَ مِنَ السَّمَٓاءِ مَٓاءً فَاَخْرَجَ بِه۪ مِنَ الثَّمَرَاتِ رِزْقاً لَكُمْۚ فَلَا تَجْعَلُوا لِلّٰهِ اَنْدَاداً وَاَنْتُمْ تَعْلَمُونَ
